About Multiverse
Multiverse was created at the dawn of Bukkit multiworld support. It has since then grown into a complete world management solution including special treatment of your nether worlds with Multiverse NetherPortals.
In the second delivery of Multiverse, we've broken it up into several smaller plugins that are each feature packed but not bloated! Multiverse provides the easiest to use world management solution for your Minecraft server, big or small, and with great addons like Portals and NetherPortals, what's not to love!
Multiverse is here and works for the latest server build! Is your server a Multiverse?

Is Multiverse missing that little something that you need?
Hop on our Discord and tell us that you'd like to fork us and add a feature! You can of course do this without consulting us, but we cannot accept pull requests that will break Multiverse for the rest of our users! Don't go write your own World Management plugin, join the team and submit a pull request.

Since a few days ago I get the following error in my Minecraft server. Use Spigot 1.8 and has never given me fault, not that there will happened:
http://pastebin.com/6rQFyM45
I leave my settings worlds also:
http://pastebin.com/tEY3B1uQ
@Sotlol1
I mean so it fully uses UUIDs
Will Multiverse update so it supports Name changes?
Hello, is this plugin working for 1.8 ??
Hello can anyone help me everytime i import a world when the server restarts it unimport it and i have to import it again how do i stop this?
@WaMarkus
on te left of this page, can you find most of the builds, under the title Facts;Recent files. of click on dev builds. excuse for bad english. :-)
Anyone? What is the latest version and where do I get it?
what build would that be and where would I go about getting it?
I'm using bukkit 1.7.9 for my server and the 1.2.5 multiverse, and whenever I import a world into my server like a survival games map there are large chunks that are in the sky that look like they were taken from the ground. Has this happened before and is there a fix or something I'm doing wrong? I usually just put the world folder into my server rename it and do /mv import [worldname]
@TWSSYesterday
Hey I was wondering if there could be any reason behind a player NOT being able to receive messages from other players in a multiverse world but they can receive them in world, world_nether, and world_the_end normally; Only way they can get the messages in the MV world is if they're opped
For Spigot 1.8, what version is the most recommended? (2.5-b691, 2.4-AB?)
@ChillerKraft
I am currently observing the same issue on Spigot 1.7.10. using Multiverse-Core Version: 2.5-b691
i thought i asked this question somewhere but i can't find it
why is it that when i do the perm
multiverse.teleport.self.World
when the world name is World
and i do /mv tp World
i am told i don't have permission.?
im using 1.8.1 spigot. im gonna test this on 1.7.9 because im pretty sure im doing it right,
and its gotta be a bug for 1.8 because i believe it used to work for me.
k.. it doesnt work on 1.7.10 spigot either, will keep testing..
@TWSSYesterday I have change my name today, i hope multiverse-inventories already support uuids. Keep up that great work, i use your plugins every day, and never had any issues. I wil say Thanks, to the great developers!!
How do i set per world spawns that work with /spawn with essentials and multiverse
P.S. i know you can do /mvsetspawn and /mvspawn but i want to do /spawn
@TWSSYesterday
I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. If you mean this command:
mv create <world> normal -t AMPLIFIED -g {settings,here...}
this doesn't work either. It tells the generator is not valid.
@TWSSYesterday
So, let me see if I can get somewhat the lay of the land here. Presently I've been using Multiworld with pretty good success, but I've found a couple of plugins that really seem to need Multiverse. As I understood it, Multiverse has multiple components now as of version 2. There is `-Core`, `-Portals`, `-NetherPortals`, etc. etc.
I note that the `-Portals` aspect has been updated as per https://github.com/dmulloy2/Multiverse-Portals/releases/tag/2.5-1.8, however it begs the question, what does one do regarding the other components? Is the older `-Core` installed along with this updated `-Portals` or how does this work out now?
It appears that `-Core` is indeed still needed... So digging back to remark http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/multiverse-core/?comment=6015 it appears that `-Core` still works in 1.8.1 as is, so that's good news. I sure hate this format as a forum for support. So difficult to find pertinent information without just drilling back forever. Sure wish we had a GitHub issue to have this dialogue more fully and to keep the topic connected.
I'm running the Spigot server + WE 6 plugin, so this is something that we need to perhaps cover in a little more detail perhaps not just in comments but in the actual text above here as well so that we have a clear picture of what to do precisely now at this point while we're in this quasi holding pattern.
@TWSSYesterday
When I use mv create <world> normal -t AMPLIFIED I get an amplified world. That's ok.
But I want something like this: mv create <world> normal -t CUSTOMIZED -g {"coordinateScale":684.412,"heightScale":684.412, (generator settings for caves of chaos template like in singleplayer) ,"lapisSpread":16}
I hope you can help me with that.
@TWSSYesterday
But I don't know what generator name is correct, as I don't want to use a plugin, but the built-in generator that is not listed in "mv generators". Using the generator settings in brackets is neither a valid generator. {"coordinateScale":684.412,"heightScale":684.412, (...) ,"lapisSpread":16}
@TWSSYesterday
Hi, when I do this (Customized in caps) it says the generator is invalid. (I pasted the code from the preset page.) In what format do I have to paste it?
I want a world like when I create a singleplayer world with the preset "caves of chaos".
Thank you!
