Overview
With MonsterTickets you are able to:
- Allow noobs to open support tickets (1 at a time)
- Allow mods to claim tickets
- Provide full support to all of your players in a smooth way
How it works
- The noob opens the ticket.
- One of your mods claim the ticket.
- The two players then can chat privatly resolving the issue.
- The mod then closes the ticket.
Setup
- Visit the Commands and Permissions page!
- Visit the Settings page!

3 idea's: 1. Offline messages (like a private mail or something) 2. When you type /close you close the the ticket that you claimed. Now you have to search the ID first. 3. /unclaim so another player mod/admin can claim the ticket .
What happens when a players opens a ticket and logs off?
Another idea: can you make it so if a player is online their name has a colour at /check ..?
@fletch_to_99
it would be still great if you could set custom commands for /request such as /ticket or so.
When you are chatting with a user in support and the help seeking user disconnects, the ticket is automatically closed. I think it should not be closed but rather stay open.
There is a database config in the config file but I cannot find information about this. NEither can I find the "DBO help page" referred to in that file.
@HexaDroid
I will add multiple language support in an upcoming version
@HexaDroid
You can turn override help option to false and it will default to /request (issue)
Can you change /help to something else? Won't it remove the /help function from essentials?
Great plugin! Can you please make a function so you can set the language? It's now: Hello my name is <name> how can i help you?
But i want that in my own language. (Dutch)
Thanks
@ThisUsernameIsMine
This is now fixed in 1.05 (uploading now)
When someone claims a ticket, all chat is disabled except the private chat :S (using bPermissions)
@fletch_to_99
Impressive, that is very cool =)
So if for example a player creates a ticket, then goes offline and a mod comes online and sees they have a ticket, can they comment on that ticket? And then if the mod goes offline the player can come online and comment back and forth like that rather than live chat as well? That tends to happen a lot sometimes. Live chat is really awesome though, especially if it can all be logged in the database and searched or referred to later on somehow or another.
@ryvix
I have also added the ability to teleport to where the ticket was created (for opened and claimed tickets) added the ability to toggle options (currently only spy mode) and I'm working on a way of pausing/resuming help sessions
@fletch_to_99
Wicked, this awesome. Thanks =)
@ryvix
It now states how many tickets are open when you log in if you have the monstertickets.check or mod perm node/ or if you are op. I'm also working on adding MySQL for the next update.
Thanks, this looks pretty awesome! I haven't tested it thoroughly yet but it looks great! What if the user that creates the ticket goes offline before you get to it, can you teleport to where they made the ticket?
I also hope there is some day a way to have offline tickets and possible permanent storage (MySQL?) for when they are offline and for later viewing. That could also make a website interface easier to work with, especially if your web server is on a different machine =)
I am also noticing it doesn't display if there are open tickets or the number of them when I log in which would also be good.
If you could get all those things this would be the best ticket plugin out there I think.
@fletch_to_99
Thanks a lot!
@ThisUsernameIsMine
I have to finish up the commands and permissions page. To check open tickets it's /check, to oepn a ticket it is /request (issue), to claim a ticket it is /claim (id) and to close a ticket it is /close
all of these are under monstertickets.mod permission node
This looks promising, but what are the commands to accept/reject someone's ticket?
Would also be nice if you could list open tickets.
Thanks :-)
