As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Of course! I have that planned, but at the moment, there's no way to do it without another plugin to help (there is one, not sure if I'm going to use it yet).
This update is awesome! Suggestion for next update: now that this is comparable with 1.8, you should add something where when a player joins a minigame a large title of that minigame name is shown with a configurable subtitle. it would be cool if you had the option to customize the text as well with different colors and other properties.
Sorry guys, running a large server with never ending problems and tasks, topped with that pesky real life getting in the way can really stop all the fun things >< Ill try my best to get back into answering questions. Hopefully everyone is going to be having fun playing with all the new features :)

Hey guys I'm making a minigame where I want my players to be able to warp but they can't because we get a message saying: "[Minigames] Failed to teleport. This could be related to world permissions." It's a message from minigames and outside of the minigame players can warp just fine.
I really need this to finish the game I've been working on and I would really like it if someone could help me out here :)

For anyone wondering I have found the problem. The plugin has an incompatibility with InfernalMobs. I reporeted it to infernalmobs plugin writer and hopefully it can be fixed for anyone who uses both plugins.
I'm not using any other sign based plugins that I'm aware of. I guess it is time to disable all other plugins and see if there is a conflict somewhere. This is with a fresh install of minigames latest dev version with craftbukkit 1.8.3.

I dont know what your doing wrong, everything is working absolutely perfect for my server running 1.8+ aswell. The only thing I can think of, are you positive there's not a conflict between the sign and another sign based plugin?
Also get this error when someone does /mg join minigame_name No point in this plugin if nobody can join the arenas I make!

Hello! I was wondering if there was anyway to make it so that either:
A.) A game can only be accessed/played on the server once every so often (such as a cooldown). and/or B.) Items that are dropped in a minigame disappear once the game is over.
The reason to this being that if A worked, I can simply set the cooldown time to when items disappear from the server ground. But if B works, then I can have it so that players can play it as often as they would like! I am creating a minigame for my server in which players can build/break blocks, loot chests, and team kill players. There are tokens that can buy stuff In the minigame, however when they die the tokens will disappear, making end games limited in what anyone can get. If I make it so that items drop, they stay on the ground even after the game is ended, making a very unbalanced game for the next players to join it :/

Some problem with team sign:
When default players try to right-click on a sign it doesn't send them to the minigame. I already checked the permissions. Although, when the players are O.P they can. Can someone help? VERY URGENT
The command /minigame list brings back an empty list.
I have created a custom loadout for TEAM (team deathmatch), added armor + sword & bow, the problem is that I want them to auto-equip the armor, 'cause... when they start, their armor is not equipped. Try by adding if armor detected in quickslot, auto-equip... just sayin' :P, btw this plugin is awez0me, even though if it's for 1.7.9 and I'm using it on my server, 1.8.3 xD
This plugin is starting to feel abandon.. can we please get a stable 1.8 release finished??
is there a way where i can give one team e.g. blue an item such as a sword and not a bow, and then the other team e.g. red a bow and not a sword??? If there is no possible way of doing this could you please add it to the plugin since i think it will be really useful
