As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Ok so a follow-up on my recent question: it appears to be possible to run a custom command as a reward for winning a minigame, but I don't know what variable to use as player. My command is /notes give <player> 1. I tried: /notes give @p 1 /notes give {username} 1 /notes give player 1 /notes give <player> 1
and none have worked. Please help, I want to reward players with a custom command when they win a game!

Yes it's working in 1.8 but the Join signs don't seem to be. Hopefully this will be fixed soon

They are unable to break blocks, most likely, because the minigame is in adventure mode, OR you have used WorldGuard or similar to protect the area.
As for the signs, are you getting any kind of error when you make the sign, or when a player tries to use it? Is the Minigame enabled?
Does anyone know if it's possible to make custom prizes with commands? I want to have the server run a custom command, '/notes give <player> 1' when they win a specific minigame. Is this possible? If not possible through config, is there an api that could allow me to run a line of code if a player wins a minigame?
Okay I am trying to setup a spleef game players cant break the blocks nor can they use the signs. EVEN when I gave them the perms

it works in 1.8 for me, but I am using the Dev Builds, but before that I was using this current build in 1.8 and from what I remember it works.
Can anyone help me with this?:
I am adding a lot of different kits to my CTF game, one being ghost and another being Spy. Ghost is invisible the entire game, and sly gets a 15 second long potion. However, when either one is invisible, you can still see their name. I haven't found a way to disable the name plates in there. I have found plugins that disable names, but I only want to hide them in that world, but I would prefer they just disappear with the invisibility effect. I already submitted a ticket, but I thought maybe someone could help me find a temporary fix. Thanks!
Getting this error when joining a new minigame I setup. The first time I join after setting it up I dont get an error. The 2nd time and on and I get this error every time.

Hey, yes i know what it is, but i want to know how to set it up?
As said though with dev builds you use at own risk because they could change anything for the release. Which in most cases damages playerdata and breakages so you might have to reset playerdata if they do any extreme changes for the release.
Does this plugin work for 1.8?
