Minigames
== NOTICE == 9 Aug 2016 ==
As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

++Update Note Aug 2017++
Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.
The files section contains various version downloads OR you can dowload them : - here
Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.

- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!

- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.
Features:
- Prizes for completing a Minigame

- Ability to create multiple loadouts
- Inventory saving
- XP saving

Click here for videos of this plugin in action.
Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
Minigame Mashup:
We Be Pirates (Teaser)
Basic Region & Nodes Tutorial
@2332fun - ah yes replied to your ticket now :)
@Vecteur - We have determined how the language file selects the file. If you copy the default en_AU.yml to your en_FR.yml at the top of the language file it should say
lang:
info: Minigames default language (Australian English)
version: 1.6.4
You need to change the version: to whatever your version you are running. So if you are using a dev build it will look like this
lang:
info: Minigames default language (Australian English)
version: 1.7.0-b131
This has been fixed in the next build along with some Minigame tool errors. But until that is built, doing what i said above lets you use your custom language file.
~~~ATTENTION~~~ Guys a reminder http://jenkins.addstar.com.au/job/Minigames/131/ is the 1.8 supported minigames build. It also fixes (should) alot of 1.6.4 problems.
@Archmohaa Dunno if you saw it or not, but I submitted a ticket this morning for ya :3
@2332fun - that's odd >< can you fill in a ticket with your server version, plugin version etc all the helpful nice info, configs, plugins etc.. Any errors that are happening
Lol yes I did, blame google. But I Am having the same issue with my plugin :/ Tried finding a solution but still haven't. X.x everything else works perfect, and when people finish a minigame there is no problem. But when someone /mgm quits, they usually lose their inventory :/
@Gelgoog135 - i just tested multiple teams on the b131 dev build. I made a blue team with 2 players max, a red ream with 1 player max and a green team with 3 players max. All teams had the proper amounts of players when tested. Was there any problem or just a general inquiry?
@Vecteur - Ah yes i have the same problem when i tested it, thanks for reporting this. Hopefully we can fix this asap.
@2332fun - Did you respond to a comment nearly 12 months ago? O_o;;;
By the way. Does anyone have a solution to our problem? Every time a player does /mgm quit, they completely lose their inventories, and it really messes up the plugin :/
I've had the same issue @Danikool48, I fixed it by doing a server reload with /server reload. Idk if it will cause any other issues, but for now it is a temporary fix. I really hope it won't continue to do this later on though :/
@Archmohaa
When I set in the config "lang: fr_FR" and I create a file fr_FR.yml in the lang directory, this file is not used and I've any error in the log. Can you resolve that please ? Good continuation, your plugin is awesome ! :)
@Archmohaa
Is this working in any version??
(especially the Max player function) ====
@THEFID - that is a cool idea and i dont think so. You might be able to do it with regions and using the 1.8 world border command and executing that with the console command action in regions. But i imagine it being super painful to try and setup.
@joaopopcorn - in the main config.yml there is config options for waitforplayers time and startcountdown (the one you want)
@Gelgoog135 - remind what team options again?
Is that the team options still not finished yet in version 1.7.0-b131 ?
How do you increase the time it takes to start a game? When ever my game has enough players it starts in like 10secs, is it possible to change that to let say 30secs?
@CodinFreak Yes, this mod can do hunger games...
Is there a way to automatically shrink the size of a last man standing map? In other words, as time progresses, you slowly shrink the size of the map forcing everyone left into a looming sudden death situation.
@llukdreams - at the moment you can left click the sign to see all the game info like that
@Vecteur - You cannot edit the default language file, that gets remade and reset all the time. You need to make a copy of that file, call it something else and make your language file from that. Then you go to your main minigame config.yml and set the new name of the language file it should use
I don't can translate any message in the build 131. The file is updated with the default language.
can you do that the join signs have a player status? so that you can se how much people are playing?? thanks.
~~~~Attention http://jenkins.addstar.com.au/job/Minigames/131/ Build 131 addresses some of the 1.8 issues. Please post any tickets regarding the dev builds and 1.8 servers. PLEASE FILL IN ALL THE TICKET FIELDS. Its important to know what build you are using etc..
@2332fun - hmm to be honest im not 100% sure. It should be fine but i do highly recommend using the dev builds now. They fix alot of things and seem to be very stable (Been running them for months now without issue)
@saxons12 - unfortunately that doesn't help. Just means you had a null players when they disconnected from the game/server. You'd need to fill in a ticket saying what version you were using etc.. and if you can replicate the issue.
@zacka123321 - make sure you are using a proper permissions plugin (and using it right) and adding the proper permissions to your players/groups. Check the wiki for the perms.
@budopey - answered your ticket. Let me know if that build helps
I made a ticket covering the issues on 1.8 and apologize if it lacks enough information. The odd behaviors only happen in-game and there's nothing to show from console or server logs.
I'm having an issue with none op players being unable to right click signs to join a game! Is there something that i'm doing or is there glitches with using 1.8?
