As most of you have already worked out, public support for this project has been non existent. Unfortunately with the workload of trying to manage and run a server network where minigames is only 1 out of what feels like 1000 projects we maintain... It gets hard trying to find time to help everyone.
But fear not this project is indeed not abandoned! We have moved the project to SpigotMC:

Please Note I have provided updated downloads for all versions back to 1.7 .. We are trying to get some idea of what versions people are running still and what we need to focus on...updating will help us target our product improvements.

Minigames is a plugin in which users can create and play several types of Minigames on a server, without the risk of losing items or XP when they die. Players can also use checkpoints so when they die, they are reverted back to that position.
The Possible Minigame types are:
- Single Player - for jump puzzles, mazes etc.
- Last Man Standing - A multiplayer Free for All (FFA) PvP Minigame
- Race - A Multiplayer race Minigame
- Team Deathmatch - A deathmatch round against 2 teams, first to a defined score wins!
- Deathmatch - A free for all deathmatch round against any predefined amount of players, first to a defined score wins!
- Spleef - Its possible to create custom Spleef arenas, as well as your standard spleef arena.
- Treasure Hunt - A global treasure finding Minigame that is always running
- CTF - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame.
- Infection - An expansion to the Team Deathmatch Minigame where the infected players must kill all survivors.

Purpose:
Minigames was created for players to play games within a server and win prizes for completion, also to let players play PvP games without the risk of losing their hard earned items and XP. Minigames also reward players for completing each Minigame, or with PvP Minigames, the player can be rewarded with 'bets' that players make before they start the Minigame. These bets can be in Economy money or preset items.
These Minigames can be created in any style the player wishes, for example, parkour jump puzzles, mazes and treasure hunts. As well as PvP games like CTF, races and more. You are given a lot of options to add to each Minigame individually, so they are all completely customisable.

Metrics
This plugin utilizes Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- And the amount of players playing games. Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

Hey, it's been a while since I've owned a server, but I'm thinking about rebuilding my old one. I want to once again use this plugin because I absolutely Loved it in the past! However, I was wondering if this plugin will work with CB 1.7.9-R0.2 even though it says R0.1? or will there be glitches? If so, should I try to get all of my plugins to go back to the 1.7.9-R0.1 or back to 1.7.2-R0.2? Because Minigames is going to be a major highlight on my server! Thanks in advance <3
@budopey - Can you make a ticket with the 1.8 problems? We have yet to fully test the current dev builds on 1.8 but at quick glance everything seemed to be fine. Also he hasn't ditched the project. Our dev site has activity on it only a few weeks ago. He is currently working on another project as well as many minigame updates at once. A single man with a job can only do so much im afraid ><
@Redstonneur66 - yeah i keep bugging about all the shiney new 1.8 stuff ;) But alot of it doesn't have an API yet to play with (as far as i was last told) Keep watching the dev page for changes to do with that

How do I make armor auto-equip? And same with player heads
How do i switch The Gamemode to survival?
Yes ! Can you update for 1.8 ?! And eventually add the gamemode spectator if a player lost all his lifes in a game.

ahh ok yes i understand. No sadly the only way would be to drop/delete the completion table of the database for that particular game. Then everyone would be considered new and get the Primary reward again. But as you said you aren't allowed to edit things server side? >< Which means not possible. You could submit a ticket suggesting a command to do this as an enhancement.
I'm not meaning that. Like someone has won the game for several times. Logically, he should be receiving the Secondary Reward, not the Primary Reward. So can admin type command maybe to reset the times players played so that he can get the Primary Reward again.
Because I've designed a maze. I just want the players to get the reward just for once, so I have to set the Primary Reward. But after some time, I'll change the route of the maze. Then I want the players to get the Primary Reward again without setting a new minigame.
@Gelgoog135 - Of course you can! :) You set the rewards with a command or the GUI to begin with. If you didn't know that then you must be doing it the long way haha >< Just type /mg edit minigamename and click on the primary reward icon and change it there.
@ChillerKraft - Hmm you might have to explain what you are trying to set up. You wont get individual points say when P1 ignites a tnt and P2 dies by that tnt so then P1 gets a kill point. Don't think there is any way to do that. You would have to give everyone lives and it would be a last man standing kind of thing.
@xBwarriorx - Replied to your ticket. Need you to download and use the latest dev and resubmit if it wont work still
@impmallet - You will need to make a ticket with your configs and the minigame config of the game that this happens in. We did have this issue on our server but i forget what the cause was now haha... Maybe the name was too long for the sign or something? Possibly using a 1.8 client to type in the sign on a 1.7 server? (1.8 signs under certain circumstances can type a few more characters then in 1.7)
@liamako221 - Yeah with the latest devs there is a team option in the edit menu. You can add multiple teams and define the max players on that team etc.. Sadly you cant do allied teams but that is a fantastic idea though.
Can I reset the Primary Reward without correcting the config files in the server side? Maybe instead by typing commands. Because admins are not allowed to view or edit the server side.
what should i do for a tnt wars minigame, tnt doesnt count as kills just death as theres no connection between the tnt shooter and the victim,
Add One in the Chamber , Skywars , Parkour , Splegg , Spleef Arrow , Snowball ? right ? , and Survival Games or Hunger Games please :)
will kills be counted if there done with tnt??
Minigames not loading on Spigot 1.8.1. Configs are checked, all minigame data is uploaded. Anybody else?
Hello,
I am using minigames 1.7.0-b129 on 1.8 and cannot seem to get the signs to work anymore. When creating a join sign it gives me an errors that the minigame specified does not exist. Using the /mg join command does work though.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Its possible to make Hungergames with this plugin using the deathmatch option and setting up chests.
