Mini Events
MiniEvents consists of 10 events that an administrator can start at any time by doing /event. Players simply do /join to join the event. Currently, the events are: LLast Man Standing, Spleef, Knock Out, TDM, Horse Race, TNT Run, Paint Ball, KOTH, Parkour, and One in the Chamber.

How to Use MiniEvents
A user does the command /event (type) and that event will start. Players will do /join to join the event. And... that's it! After you have set up the arena and have done the appropriate 1-2 commands to set up the event, you will not have to do any more commands. You can simply do /event and let the players play!
Players will need to do /join to join the event and then they just have to wait until the game starts.

All the events work as of now. Out of your list, I have TDM done. I won't do the other ones because there is now an API that you can create Minigames with :) So maybe some dev will be nice enough to code those for you.
I love the plugin, but I have a few ideas for the next update, and a question.
Paintball doesn't work. The event works, but the guns don't fire. I have the item set to 293...any possible solutions?
I have a few minigame suggestions too:
Swordgame: Start with full leather, and a diamond sword. With every kill, your sword decreases in value, from diamond to iron to stone to gold to wood. Whoever gets a kill with a wood sword first wins.
Team Deathmatch: Simple, split the group into 2 teams. Whichever team gets the most kills wins.
Infection: One player starts as the zombie, the others as regular players. (If possible, could you get them to look like a zombie?) Then, when a zombie kills someone, they too become a zombie, and the game continues until 1 person is left. Unlimited respawns as a zombie.
Magic Helmet: One player starts with a diamond helmet. Everyone gets a sword, and when someone kills the person with the diamond helmet, they get the helmet. Whoever has the helmet at the end of the game wins
Disintegration: The floor randomly starts disintegrating. Like spleef, but the ground goes out for you.

Can you add an option so that Players in the same faction and allies can hit eachother? ATM On my faction server they cannot hit each other.

Calling all devs! What kind of things do you guys want to see in the API? I have all the basic stuff done, but I think I'm missing some stuff.
Here's what I have done:
I have Multiverse and my players found that if they join (I changed permissions so they could only join from my MiniGames world), then warp back to our Survival world, when the event started, they would teleport into the game, then after, they would return to Survival with their event items (I've been searching chests and confiscating spleef shovels!).
Anyhow, I think to stop this and Beefzilla's issue, if you could have them instantly teleported to a Spectator lobby or something where they couldn't use commands as soon as they used the /join command

Probably best to PM me these kind of bugs: we don't want players finding out about these. Either way, I can't do anything about it now. The new version should be done soon.

Sorry if you misunderstood but I meant as its already implemented for OITC and to have them as an option for all events does not seem like big request
Ex: LMS having multiple set spawns instead of the cluster spawn would be of great use. Everyone spawning at one location and having 5 seconds is not the setup I'd prefer when its a one life event. To claim its taking away from your 1-2 command setup would be contradicting in its existence already
Anyways, was just a friendly request. I find your plugin to be the best for its simplicity compared to the various others and would prefer to stick with yours. Thanks for the reply

I think Ash meant having the PvP type of events spawn players into the 'arena' similiar to the way OITC does. Right now the Paintball, and KOTH all spawn everyone in one big pile instead of spread out.

There's already multiple spawn points for OITC. I won't be adding this feature because that would overcomplicated the plugin and it goes again the "one-two command setup aspect" that everyone loves about this plugin.
Custom event-before delay is a legitimate request and I will think about it.
Return s to last position is kinda being added. When you die now, you go into spectator mode.
I think you guys will like the new update. But please don't bug me about it for I have a lot of stuff on my plate so this update may take a while.
P.S. Most plugin do an update every 6-7 months so you guys are lucky I'm a sucker for update :P
Hullo! First off, would like to thank you Mirror for the amazing and lightweight event plugin! Can't await for the upcoming updates and more that you have in the works. Great stuff! Now I don't want to be a burden but I do have some requests I'd at least like to mention if that is okay ^.^

I have an idea for a minigame. How about a parkour in a tunnel and a wave of lava is raging behind you as you try to complete the parkour.

I have been (trying) to work on the plugin a lot. Right now, I have the separate prizes for winning (when you win, command that you can set through the config will be ran).
I've pretty much been recoding this whole plugin. You guys won't see that much of a difference in the events (except some stuff), but if another developer looked at my code before the update and now, they will probably be like 0.0
Done: Custom prizes, fireworks when player wins, spectator mode, KOTH fix, koth loading bar (dragon health bar), total recode of the plugin, stats for winning games, and signs.
To do: Scoreboards, loading bar for some events (just for fun), API (I'll make it detailed), rename event names, run /event through console, horse race, TDM, mod arena?
I don't want to give you guys an exact release date but I'm (hoping) within the next 2 weeks.

I can confirm the seeing event items on relogged players from events.
There was a custom Potato item given to players as an easteregg for one of our events and when the player logged out and back in again he still had this potato in his inventory.

You can't leave the event in this version. The next version will allow this. You will have to relog to leave the event.

Players should get their original items back if they relog. I spent a lot of time making sure they did and testing.
