where Mchat b335 gone?
@ryan_the_leach
the problem is that i have tried almost everything. but ill test the version you linked....
EDIT:
OK this version seems to be stable, did not give error when launching, no error when I joined in and no error when using linksonsigns plugin's signs.
@semirotta
Try using http://ci.q0r.ca:8080/job/MChat/326/artifact/target/MChat-1.5.1-R0.11.jar
It's the latest dev build that I would consider "stable ish"
The current build pushed to the #335 has had multiple people complain about errors, I am waiting on miracleman to remove it from the site.
I've never used links on sign, and I do not see how it relates to MChat.
Are you sure you reverted to the correct version?
In future, if you have an issue, please make a ticket, it makes it easier to organize.

anyone help?
http://pastebin.com/LkfzaQ7y
I use LinksOnSigns plugin and when I clicked link from a sign it works fine but it gave me the error above. After all rank prefix etc. disappeared so basically this plugin broke... How to fix ?
EDIT:
Now the error pops out all the damn time. I use the newest stable update (version b335), i think i go back to the old version i had (DevBuild MChat-1.5.1-R0.17)
EDIT2:
Oh what the hell, now this one gives error too...
http://pastebin.com/RK5sVmNu
NO MATTER WHAT VERSION I USE NOW IT FUCKS UP, i tried removing linksonsigns too but it doesnt help. FIX FAST PLEASE?
@olgnet
I don't think that you can, But I will gladly add this as a ticket and it will be resolved when I finally finish the Variable Parser re-write.
How can I change the format of MChannels? For example, move the [Channel] to end
Just made a recommended update.
@ryan_the_leach
Ryan, please send be all the important bugs that i have to fix, on steam.
Hey Ryan thanks for reply
Yes not to worry about the mcmyadmin as you say the issue is probably that end
I do use permissionsbukkit though is mchat meant to grab the groups off that for prefixes or have I got wrong end of stick
Thanks
@ryan_the_leach
i already reported and he alredy fixed it https://twitter.com/MCMAUpdates
@Hmmcrunchy
There's not a whole bunch we can do. If it works manually, but not with McMyAdmin it's completely out of our reach unless we work out what changed and revert it, but considering that people have already swapped to the new way, its going to cause troubles all over again to try to switch back.
What can you do? Ask PhonicUK to update MCMyAdmin, it edits config files directly, and is likely out of date, If he needs any help, I have offered and would be happy to give it to him, but I fear there is not much I can do.
However, if there IS an issue, that's reproducible without MCMyAdmin, report it on our ticketing page and we will look into it.
Hey guys awesome plugin
I've had a few issues since a few versions ago mcmyadmin has stopped altering the prefixes and also I can't seem to get it to link to permissionsbukkit
The player is added on login but only to default group it doesn't seem to link to their permission group, if I alter it manually it works ok but I have too many to do that on all,
Any help most appreciated (I are you are Working on mcmyadmin from post below)
Thanks :)
@ROTUstaff
@ROTUstaff I've talked with xion87 before, the last time we tracked the problem down to changes MChat had made in the past that mcmyadmin hadn't updated to.
I havn't had a chance to talk to them again since however.
@BlueFusion95
I can certainly try!
Any suggestions on how you would want such a feature to work?
I havn't looked through the bungee API but I'm assuming it has some method of doing server2server communications?
still using 1.4.7 versions of this and townychat. upgrading either(orboth) still breaks it somehow.
@xion87
What do you mean? You can use any of the main permissions plugins with the build available in the sidebar, and you can still use any of the main permissions plugins as long as you have Vault installed if you're using a dev build. McMyAdmin is a server control panel, what does that have to do with anything?
add support for pex+mcmyadmin! :)
Is there any chance this plugin will support cross server chat/Bungee connectivity? I am trying to find the best way to sync my player chat between servers however I rely heavily on this plugin and nothing else can do the job.
Thanks,
BlueFusion12
@ROTUstaff
Its been mainly just split into 4 different functions, I'm currently working on improving the documentation so thanks for the feedback.
have you checked out http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/mchat/pages/ ?
if thats not enough, make a ticket listing things you think need explaining better, and I'll attempt to add them to the documentation.
