This plugin was created to allow users to control which Mobs spawn and which do not. This will prevent any animal from spawning in all circumstances
when you have set it to false in the text file. This plugin can also despawn all mobs that are set to disabled in all worlds. This Plugin Has Multi-World Support.

This mod provides being able to turn off Annoying Mobs like:
Creepers
Endermen
Squid
Villagers(testificases)
etc
Main Features:

Control which Mobs can spawn and which can't.

Helps reduce lag as server is processing less mobs, especially when unecessary mobs such as Squid and Villagers are turned off.

you can change whether any of the Minecraft mods spawn or not.
Setting Up:
On first run, the plugin will create a text file with the properties in it, this will then allow you to change which mobs spawn and which dont in a format

if DespawnCurrentMobs is set to true, this will despawn any mobs that are Disabled that are already present in the world.
This mod works across all worlds the server has.

the plugin works exactly as you say it does on all worlds. I use multiverse to have seperate settings for minigames and pvp. is it possible to make the plugin configurable per world?

I would like a way to *prevent* certain mobs form *despawning*, so that players can keep pet slimes, magma cubes, and squid.
Whoops, i had completely forgotten about this BukkitDev page, i have just been sticking to the Forums, Most of the glitches should have been fixed by now.
Ignore BigScary's comment, the only plugin out of the ones he noted that is actually "up-to-date" is DisableMobs and it is having some issues at the moment.
I can disable every mob but the bouncing green cubes in Flatland worlds. Is there a trick to disabling them?
i mand sime false in the mantamobcontrol.txt and there still spawning and the DespawnCurrentMobs:true
Hey man maybe you should consider closing shop on this. No offense intended, but there are three other plugins that do the same thing, with more control options. They just seem more complete (AntiMobSpawn, ControlMobs, DisableMobs).
And then there's "Mobs", which blows all of them out of the water. Except of course that it's so complicated to configure that the author is creating yet another application for his users to run, which helps them configure it, lol.
is there any way you can update this for the new server please. I run a small server for my home computer it is for me and my bro and sisters i need this for the creepers and Enderman thanks
Here is a request for you. In config, setting a time for despawn, like every morning. In config also setting which world to let the despawn happen.
I need something like this for a world I have called Terror, running mob apocalypse, but would like to kill all mobs in the morning, so that the players can run around and build their forts again before it gets dark.
Any help in this regards would be super appreciated!
