Lores
Version 1.4.1
This Plugin was made for PhatLoots but works perfectly by its self
This plugin is a simple way to create custom Lores for Items. You hold the Item in your hand and use one of the commands below. Color can be added by using the & character.
Commands:
- /lore name <custom name> - Set the new Name of the Item
- /lore owner<custom name> - Change the Owner of a Skull
- /lore add <line of text> - Add a line to the lore
- /lore set <line #> <line of text> - Change a line of the lore
- /lore insert<line #> <line of text> - Insert a line into the lore
- /loot delete [line #] - Delete a line of the lore (last line by default)
- /lore clear - Clear all lines of the lore
- /lore undo - Undoes your last modification (up to 5 times)
Permission Nodes:
- lores.lore - Needed to modify an item's lore
- lores.name - Needed to change the name of an item
- lores.owner - Needed to set the owner of a skull
- lores.color - Needed to add color codes to lore
- lores.format - Needed to add format codes to lore
- lores.admin - Parent node for all above permissions
@NoobSaibot93
No errors? in the PhatLoot property files do you see the item description names?
@Codisimus
I'm not sure I understand. I can see the lores in my server files (Plugins/PhatLoots/Itemdescriptions) but for some reason they aren't connected to the items themselves? Is there a way to fix this or am I SOL?
@NoobSaibot93
It is kinda a roundabout way of saving the Lore with PhatLoots, I am trying to make it more automatic for you.
@artlune
I am releasing a version today that has more permission nodes that will fix this issue.
Not sure why but all the custom Lores I had set are gone. I have Phatloot and instead of the lore I had previously set, I get something like "Diamond Sword" and then the enchantments on it. Did I do something wrong?
My process was:
1. /lore name "blahblah" 2. /lore add "gggkgkg" 3. /loot add hand %.05 (Or whatever) 4. Then the item would show up in the chest. I did this all last night and when I returned this morning, the lores were gone. The only thing that has changed between then and now is I installed EpicBoss.
For some reason I can't add bold (&l) text as the item name. &a<est shows up as "test" in green text. Not bold.
Okay great, thanks you!
@Ordrox
PhatLoots allows you to do things like "summon" these custom items at any time. You can add the item as loot for a chest. then you simply open the chest or type "/loot <PhatLootName>" to get the item.
Hi, i've a question, how does it work with PhatLoots? Can i change the name, add texts and enchant on an item and then bind it to a chest with PhatLoots?
Has admin, if i drop a modified item, can i get it back in any kind of way? (Like, does it save modified items somewhere and can we "summon" them anytime by using a command?)
@konradmm
That's not true, why would you think that?
Okay nevermind.. now it's working.. It has repaired itself :D
@Kubixster
Propably because this lore u actually have is not added by this plugin? U cant edit lores that are simply added from another plugins ;]
@Kubixster
I cannot duplicate this, do you have a screenshot?
/lore name , add , clear and undo works fine, but I'm unable to set or delete the line because when I type "/lore set 2 blabla" it says "Invalid line number!" .. Mah sword has got over 6 :D
Change the other page (of download)
@Mixon87
The plugin must support saving items with lore, My plugin PhatLoots does can't tell you about the others.
@Scusemua
I responded to your post on PhatLoots.
The descriptions and item names reset when I reset the server.
Will the lore text will not be deleted if use this plugin with treasure chests or showcase standalone or dispenser refill ? If yes, then the only one way to give such items to players is a Manuel way? Thank you
@artlune
I created a plugin that does that sort of thing. I am unsure of whether I will make it available to the public.
Hmmmm. Have you considered adding abilities/benefits for certain lores? An example would be if you had added the lore "+1 Poison" in any color or format, it would apply the level 1 potion effect to the enemy on hit. Another idea would be if you add certain lore such as "+1 Regen" it would give the user the regen potion effect indefinitely while wearing that equipment. Maybe that should be saved for another plugin.
@JDM242
I don't want this plugin to become too complicated. However you do make a valid argument. I just cannot think of a good way to allow users to add/modify these enchantments.
