Infected
Features:
This plugin allows you to customize the mobs on your server and in your worlds like YOU want! You can add tons of things to their attacks and soon you'll can do even more. At the moment you have a decent choise of effects, which you can give to the mobs you want. You can also add multiple effects to a single mob if you want and you can also choose how often the effect should occure, be enabled and in which world. It is also possible to set a message when you got 'infected' and 'cured'. This plugin is lightweight, highly-configurable and up²date.
Effect | Usage |
---|---|
nausea | Visual effect (a bit like the portal ones) |
hunger | The player is hungry (decrease food-bar) |
slow | The player is slower (wow!) |
blind | The player can only see a few blocks far |
poison | The player becomes poisoned |
burn | The player burns! |
lifesteal | Giving the enemy health back |
critical hit | Dealing an amount of damage YOU want. |
damage | Deal additional damage |
reflect | Reflecting the damage to the player |

- Add velocity/speed of a mob

Installation
If you want to use a newer version than yours, please check the config-page for changes first! Place the Infected.jar in plugins folder. Now customize and configure the plugin! You can find a instruction how to edit the config.yml here! Please dont forget that :P
Ok cool you noticed the color codes don't work ^_^ still super freaking excited that you added that feature. Is there still any chance you can code an off message as well? You could tie the duration number in the code which would fire the event.
Example: get hit; message comes across "You've been nauseated by a Zombie!" and after the custom duration you could put something like "The nausea has worn off."
I don't think it would be too hard to code, but just a suggestion :D Mostly came back to mention coloring not working lol.
Hope it wont be too hard to update. Probably will though =\ looking forward to it if you do.

You know what! I think it is the reload in Pail that is causing it. If I stop the server, change the config and restart it seems to save. I been messing with the classes a little, I couldnt fix the color, i'm not a great programmer by any means, but after I figured out the Pail reload garbage I can kick myself for spending two hours re-configuring the generated config...garh. lol :D
p.s. I did find one thing you might need. The zombie hunger p message . Hope I helped!

I don't know what is your problem with nausea :D I've tried to set the enable-node for nausea to false and it was disabled :D
I'll fix the color-things :)

manniL, just so ya know even setting the nausea to false still reloads as true. Maybe should just take it out and post an example config here on the dev pages. Kinda making me sick in the dungeons hahahaha, can live with it tho until fix. :) I really think this is a great tool to add some extra boss moves :D Thanks !!
p.s. also another small bug, message output format is not reading the &6 for us, tried to erase it, move it, and change the color, all resets back to &6 and outputs as literally '&6 blah blah blah' with no color lolz :)

Okey, I'll give it a shot. If you have time, please post your Spout version, your Infected version, your bukkit build and the error.

It seems there is an incompatibility with the Spout plugin. I'll post the error later, but basically when players are attacked by Infected mobs, Spout goes nuts, throws an error, and the server kicks the player that was attacked.

Oh, right :'D I know why. But thats not a big problem :) Just set the nausea-enable-node to false ;)
well, 1.6.1 solved most of the problems, now only problem i can find is that whenever i edit the zombies effect to hunger instead of nusea, after i reload it will end up looking like this:
