Amazing! Thanks shansen
this is AMAZING <3 -ggthelegend im recommending this to other servers :3
@shansen1
That might be the way to go on my server, also.
Ouh =D this is A great mod! tnx
@JoneKone
I see what you mean. On my server we just disabled those messages as it is obvious if you fail or succeed :)
I tough I Did! =) but I didn't .. Now it works..
When I have success percentage at 0.1 and I put the "you have failed message" to appear.. it kind of spams the chat.. There could be a option/feature that "fail" messages comes ones after first fail, then after first success and after successfully catch if you fail it says fail. and then nothing until you again get a success.
@JoneKone
You should just have it in your inventory. Have you changed the ItemId in the configuration file?
Where do i put the gold? Cos It just tells me that "It costs this much gold ingots to catch this mob"
Ouh =) just realized it could say instead of this mob "%mobname" ie. pig
I have in my inventory 64 gold ingots.
v1.11 contains the much requested vault and cost support. Also thanks for the many pm's and suggestions. If you want anything else please post :)
This is like pokemon.
@pacmanjonesminecraft
I understand what you are saying but could you not just decrease the catch chance? There's implicitly a cost since you have to use an egg. You just have to configure it according to your economy. If you configure the chance to 10, it will cost roughly 10 eggs. If you configure it to 1 it will cost roughly 100 eggs etc.
@shansen1
Sorry my bad, I don't know how I missed that. What I meant to say was "A way to make it cost something AND a failure rate would make this plugin perfect", so I guess I really meant adding some cost (monetary or item like a gold ingot) would be great. As it is right now, my players just farm chicken eggs then spam zombies etc to catch them. If it cost 1 gold ingot to catch one, I'm sure they wouldn't.
Thanks for the great plugin!
@pacmanjonesminecraft
The failure rate is configurable in the settings file, or do I misunderstand you?
@shansen1
A way to make it cost something or a failure rate would make this plugin perfect.
@kahlilnc
The explosion effect is not configurable. It's the same as from any other explosion in Minecraft. Only difference is that this is only the effect, not a real explosion.
Could you make the explosion size configurable. To much of this at a time causes lag. :/ But I like that effect.
Awesome plugin works great but i think it would be much better if you could change the message of each mob when you catch it and maybe that it takes levels to catch certain mobs
@Shooty_
I've done another plugin now called EggLayers. Check it out. It's not drop on kill if that's what you are looking for. It's randomly laying like chickens.
@darkdemon42
I've just uploaded v1.6 where you can disable permission checking in the config file. The download link should be available shortly. Let me know if it works for you.
Just installed, only Ops can catch stuff, everyone else just gets the failed message. Any idea? I'm not using a perms plugin
@kalez238
You can already configure that in the config file.
