can you make me a custom item config? like herobrine head?
i ask this because i'm just confused about the item meta xD
sorry for my bad english, hope you understand what i said xDD
@Hangar @lostminecraft
I'll try to create a video this weekend.
The peacefull option is still valid, but there are that much options, that even i have no clue how much possibilities are out there.
Have a look on the example folder, there are all active properties listed or press tab ingame while using that modifyentity command.
After creating a custom mob you can spawn it with /cms <Monstername> <Amount> ....
PS: I already work on the next update for this plugin.
Improved falling block support + Custom AIs for Monsters/Animals/Villagers + some Persistence improvements
@Hangar
hmm, Thanks for the help, I was trying to make custom mobs in exemples, Also how do I specify where I want them to spawn and how many? is that even possible? Also trying to get them to spawn doesnt work for me :/, Do you have skype? maybe you can help me like that so It can be easier? its up to you but you can reach me @ legendeternality
@lostminecraft
I basically just make custom mobs in CustomEntities.yml and then use:
/crazyspawner name quantity [peaceful:true] [whatever other flags you want from the Commands & Permissions page linked above]
... to make them spawn. You can give them custom gear and a custom name over their head, as well as custom drops. You can specify where they will spawn specifically with coordinates (but maybe not world still?) so you can automate it somewhat via other plugins. I'm sure it can do other things but that's mostly all I've done.
Hrm... looks like the peaceful option isn't even listed on that page. Perhaps it's not updated. I could see a need for some better noob-friendly documentation maybe.
This plugin seems awesome but I really dont understand how to use it :( are there any tutorials or anything like that? I've read the commands and permissions but it doesnt make that much sense to me... Also I deleted my folder thinking it would generate a new one but it didn't, thats fine but I just used my test server to get some new files.
@TheOneMadHawk
I finally figured out my problem. My custom entities were still in the config file. I must have missed a patch note or conversion.
Thanks.
@Hangar
The reload command is somewhy buggy right now
try
/crazyspawner reload config
/crazyspawner reload customEntities
...
or
/crazyspawner reload *
Currently the reload order is wrong
First of all
customEntites
after that spawnTasks and config
@TheOneMadHawk
So of the things that do not work yet for 1.6... does that include spawning custom mobs that you've defined? I can't seem to do that now and I know I had it working before. I'm not sure the reload function is even working.
I don't know how many people use the plugin but I thought it had great potential with the custom mobs. I was planning on using them for a few different projects, one where i'd have multiple zombie types with different attributes for a zombie survival map. Mostly so far though I've just been creating them to mess with people (baby zombies with custom names and drops never gets old)...
It's perfect mate. I've update my craftbukkit version. Thanks for your support. I send you the translation today)
@Finelarme2
It just tested it myself and it worked perfectly fine for me (1.6.2)
Which version of CB are you using?
PS: Projectiles (Arrows) won't work yet.
Here is my config:
Thanks for your return guy :).
Oh you work an another update and plugin too ? A nice idea, I look forward to see that.
Ok i work on the translation, I will send you tomorrow.
I've got a question, how can i change the damage of a custom entities ?
I try that, just for seeing the difference, and nothing change :
- minDamage: 2.0
- maxDamage: 10.0
Have you an idea ?
@Finelarme2
Guy you're awesome, your plugin works perfectly now !
I'm glad to hear that. I already thought nobody would use this plugin.
I continue to follow your work.
I already started working on another update for this plugin.
main feature: Behaviour-Modification
(do not move, do not destroy doors)
i'll also investigate about persistence and new beahviours (guard, follow, move back and forth)
Especially the new behaviours will be evil (for CraftBukkit only).
in addition to that i work on a new plugin called CrazyItem
CrazySpawner will automatically hook in it.
This will allow creating(using Item(Stacks) easier and with more features.
It will be like CrazySpawner but for Items
I can help you for the French translation, i've got a very good spelling.
That would be great!
Guy you're awesome, your plugin works perfectly now !
Thanks again and again. I continue to follow your work.
I can help you for the French translation, i've got a very good spelling.
@Finelarme2
First of all thanks for your bugreport.
I will fix this asap.
Wait a few days and check the next release. (Currently bukkits approval time is very high)
Due to 1.6.1 i had to recode a lot and there are still things that do not work.
Thanks for your answer.
But /cspawner me SKELETON STRONGSKELETON health:100 (with the /cspawner oe SKELETON STRONGSKELETON then) don't work for example.
And the command for Zombie create Zombie peacefull (who don't attack me).
It's very sad. This plugin is a really nice idea but don't work with me.
@Finelarme2
You can overwrite the default entities with Custom ones.
Example: Every default spawned zombie spawns with 100 health.
Create a strong zombie
/cspawner me ZOMBIE STRONGZOMBIE health:100
Overwrite the default zombie
/cspawner oe ZOMBIE STRONGZOMBIE
You can create the tasks using the /cms command
/cms STRONGZOMBIE
if you press tab there is a list of possible params that you can use.
like amount repeat interval delay creaturemaxcount creature(search)range playermincount player(search)range spawnrange
Hi, thanks for that. But i find it very difficult to use.
1 - Your plugin allows to naturally spawn entities from CustomEntities ? Or obligation to create a spawner (also how to create one) ?
2 - How configure the file Tasks ?
Can you give more information please..
@wydgabriel
Currently there is not "respawn after death" param.
Only an interval (i) option with creaturemax (cm) and creaturerange (cr).
The /tear (the end auto respawn) command uses this params.
/cms MOB128 i:5h cm:1 cr:100
MadHawk, what is the command (param.) to set the time to entity respawn after his death? Because I created one creature with some params. and when I spawn , they dont stop spawning.
@wydgabriel
First off all create a custom entity of the given type.
In the latest dev builds there is a command for setting it up in game.
Otherwise use the examples to create one while the server is offline.
And finally add this to your config using your custom entities name.
overwriteEntities:
ZOMBIE: HEALTHY_DIAMNOND_ZOMBIE
It is planned to add a command for that too.
