Your server is doing some form of a check of all players, I would check if any plugins you may have installed is doing that OR if someone in the console is listing players. I have seen this before except it was broadcast to all players, not just commandspy users. It does not happen on our servers so it must be a plugin you have installed. Check for like player counters, MOTD plugins, timed messages, or any related plugins like that.
@PippaSmith
CommandSpy has worked on all versions of Bukkit AND Spigot since 1.5.2 and our server is on the latest Spigot 1.7.9, Not one flaw at all.
If I do /commandspy on, every 2 minutes it says: [Server]list
What is this and how can I stop this?

My server uses CommandSpy: play.hazcraft.fr - www.hazcraft.fr
Any chance of an update? Spigot is very version sensitive. I've looked everywhere for same sort of plugin, nobody has updated. I"ll try this although i'm on 1.7.9; hope this works.
New Feature Requests
My Server
My server, KingsCraft Network, uses Commandspy, and personally I must say, its a great plugin! The new feature requests I am making are based purely off of my experience with the plugin and my thoughts.

Hi I am running this on my server and it works awesome! I recently decided to allow my smods, sadmins, OPs, and Owners to use it because they were getting a little bit toooo involved in role play if you know what I mean so what a wonderful idea...with this, haha, they have no other choice but to pay attention. I give this thing an A ....Thanks again.

I would like to request wildcards in the ignore list, so "/a*c" would ignore "/abc" as well as "/acc".
In any case, thanks for this plugin. Very helpful.
Hello I'm a bit curious will this plugin still function in 1.7? We used to run this plugin, but we had some complications with the server(had to uninstall and check every single plugin). I'd really like this plugin again. I can use it to help out players who forgot commands and keep an eye on the staff.
PowerCloudMC uses CommandSpy, to ensure that admins are not abusing their power. It's a great addition to our server! Thanks for developing the plugin! Please add our server to the list.

My server uses your PL and it's name is "Post-War" And it's Website it "Postwar.weebly.co" and the IP is "mc.postwar.mcpro.co (: It's RPG BTW.
forgive me for being a noob with java. I haven't the slightest clue what the stack traces mean. I reported the crash to spigot like they want us to and and this is exactly what they told me. and after I reacted to their suggestion, which was remove commandspy and watch for any crashes and report that. heres what they said.
"CommandSpy is having issues either checking if there is an update or when a player joined connecting to an external database though XML? Probably the update timeout.
Your Spigot build is also very outdated."
I have a server crash report that seems to point to commandspy. http://pastebin.com/eUfkE1e6
I like the plug so im hoping its simple as disabling auto update.
Great plugin!!!
Also, it only shows up when a player uses commands. If the player places a sign, it logs that perfectly fine without any other messages.
Hey korik, I've been using commandspy alot on multiple servers and have asked many servers I'm staff on to use it and it is very useful, but there's one problem I see when I turn on commandspy for console. I use /commandspy set c:* s:* on the console, and the commands players use are shown up, but before the command it always says [Server] INFO false. Nothing else, just that, and then the player's command. Other than that, working perfectly!
Does this version work in 1.6.2?
Can you make it so that it's automatically enabled when you join?
Why does "Server List" keep coming up in the chat? And i don't really understand the commands like how do i make it so that i only see commands from players that do not have permission? And my config files wont save.
So we can see peoples private messages when they do /msg?
