Getting Started
Installation |
---|
Bukkit is currently required.
- Install WorldEdit first. (DON'T FORGET THIS)
- Download CommandBook and install it the same way.
- Run your server once to generate the files.
- Edit plugins/CommandBook/config.yml to your liking.
- Restart the server for the settings to take effect.
You'll have to read the wiki (see below) to find the permissions you need.
Want more features, faster? We need some help with something!

BungeeCord port! That'd be awesome if all these features could work cross-server!
I have a suggestion: /setkit <name>. It will set your inventory to a kit. This way fireworks and written books would be saved, and it's also alot easier to make kits.
When will the 1.5 or 1.5.1 update for cmdbook come out? And also, whenever I edit something in the config, my server keeps changing what I edited back to the defaults of cmdbook, what is up with that? I already updated WorldEdit. Please tell me what's wrong and when the 1.5 updates will come out. Thanks!
There should be a -e flag for /i or /give which allows items to go straight to an enderchest
when version 1.4.7 will be released? It is very necessary, because admincmd finally can not understand!!
Are the messages if this plugin configuarable?
Hey I am having some trouble with command book when I type /list or when I join it shows online players with no colour yet I have colored-names: true in the config can anyone help?
I haven't done testing on 1.5 entirely yet, but if CommandBook is failing to load, WorldEdit might be the cause! Update that too.
Can server owners Get some more info on the Fly command that has been added?
Its not mentioned on the wiki and the in game help is nada.. To be honest i would not of even known it was there if not for the section in the config
@Eelviny
You have CommandBook working under Bukkit 1.5? How did you go about making that happen? I've been trying every Bukkit 1.5 build for almost 2 hours now with no success.
Yep, confirmed it's not working on current and dev builds, I do use Spigot but I don't think it's the one causing it. Mostly seems to be 'ClassNotFoundException' to do with permissions, not posting the full error 'cos it's easy to reproduce :P
EDIT: Found the problem here. I was simply using worldedit 5.5.3, when Spigot currently only supports 5.5.2. Everyone who thinks it doesn't work, double check your worldedit version!
@ManBeastPigDev
setwarp is working if you have op but the nodes wont work for others.
correction.
With latest bukkit commandbook fails on load.
doesn't work at all now.
setwarp node seems to be broken now.
Players getting no perms notice even if they do.
commandbook.warp.set
no /spawnmob wither_skeleton command.

Yes, it is a sad thing when that happens, but what is simply infuriating is when people comment negatively about things they know nothing about... Sk89q is one of the best programmers that MC has; show some respect and at least read up a little before bashing on your keyboard like a moron.
@KSum
Yes that is
@xXMychobboXx
Just disable the commands in the config! Please rember this commandbook is not a addon for essentials
@hok00
Commandbook is an alt to essentials, it has not been coded to work with essentials
When I issue the command /mute * It says, More than one player found! Use @(target) for exact matching.
Is this message coming from commandbook?
You should get rid of the afk command. it affects the essentias afk and back command, so fix it or get rid of it please
@Johnny_Bravo0_0
I'm no expert on Java or any code... but as i see it i believe all sk89q plugins use WorldEdit as an API, which is updated. Just get the latest version of WorldEdit and the latest available versions of your sk89q plugins (WorldGuard, Commandbook, Craftbook, etc) and it should work fine. If you don't want the WorldEdit plugin, just put it in your root folder instead of the plugin folder.
Does it run with essentials?
