Getting Started
Installation |
---|
Bukkit is currently required.
- Install WorldEdit first. (DON'T FORGET THIS)
- Download CommandBook and install it the same way.
- Run your server once to generate the files.
- Edit plugins/CommandBook/config.yml to your liking.
- Restart the server for the settings to take effect.
You'll have to read the wiki (see below) to find the permissions you need.
Want more features, faster? We need some help with something!

wow enchantments added to the item/give commands, that's great, can anyone give me a example command as i have tried /i 278:fortune:3 and its not right... help!
Great plugin, light weight and does what you need. Thanks!
@cwingrav
I'm getting that error too. Attempting to use a test server to generate a default config.
@andreblue
How do i do that?
you mean like winrar or jzip or such?
What richboos said, i need to disable some of the mods because i got other ones in its place.
For version 2.0, I can't get a config file that works, so CommandBook does not load. I removed my existing "CommandBook" directory and started/stopped the server but it didn't create a config.yml file with anything in it. I copied the config.yml file from the wiki page but it didn't work, giving the same errors:
[WARNING] [CommandBook] Error loading configuration: java.lang.NullPointerException at java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(FileInputStream.java:134) at com.sk89q.util.yaml.YAMLProcessor.load(YAMLProcessor.java:97) at comsk89q.commandbook.CommandBook.populateConfiguration(CommandBook.java:216) ...
Any ideas?
Will the 2.0 release be added to http://www.sk89q.com/projects/commandbook/customize ?
@stargateanubis14
Sayy whatt!? Really! That's awesome, is there anywhere I can find a wiki for how to do this as I may not understand the syntax for it unless there is an example in the config file already, which brings me to another point, where can I get this CONFIG file?
@Gaspunkag
as i said below, the CONFIG file has the customization now...If you exclude/deny certain commands, they dont get registered in the plugin (from what i can tell)
Great work with 2.0 guys!
However.... can you do the customiser with 2.0 ? It would help me a lot.
@OERB57
To not use the plugin, place it in the server's jar file folder
Can i please have a sample config ? (all the config files needed). Because it doesn't create configs correctly on my testserver :\
it breaks my server configuration, because it doesn't work with other plugins. Alone with worldguard and worldedit it works, but I have many other plugins, which I need, but last builds causing errors. I tried to eliminate plugins one by one to find a source of troubles, but it looks there are at least few plugins with which CB doesn't work. It goes selfish Essentials way. Back to 1.7.
When using world edit 5.1.1 is asks if it is up to date along with commandbook.
@OERB57
Try puting WorldEdit in the plugin folder, WorldEdit is a plugin.
@tmad40blue
You CAN customize, but its not AS customizable. When you first load the plugin, the config file is generated. Within there, it has the 'enabled' and 'disabled' features. From my testing, the disabled features dont even register the commands with the plugin (so other plugins that DO use those commands, have no conflict)
I just dont like it that even if you wanted to split each individual feature, you cant; Instead you have to go with their pre-grouped settings... which isn't too terrible.

DO WANT
When can we expect the 2.0 customizer?
I love you.....
Please add /tpworld, /creative and /survival and delete /gamemode
I don't know why but cmdbook doesn't work,i have it in the plugin folder and worldedit in the root folder but it doesn't work!
can somebody plz help?
thanks!
