ClearLagg
Clearlag was designed to reduce lagg on Bukkit/Spigot servers by removing entities, and preventing it through it's many optional features. Of course this plugin can't fix all lag, but it does clear most of it. If your using a larger server with 20+ players, simply using the /lagg clear command can drastically decrease RAM/CPU usage by simply removing your configured entities.
- Permission support
- Entity limiter
- Reduces lag
- Decreasing RAM/CPU usage
- Ability to stop a TNT chain reaction
- Option to limit mob spawners
- Locate overcrowded/abused chunks
- Many easy to use commands
- Real-time module controls
- Very lightweight - only enables selected features
- Remove old logs upon enabling server
- Limit AI processing attributes
- Console support for most commands
- Can adjust times when the server is cleared of lagg
- Completely configurable

Still have a question?
If you are having issues or cannot get the plugin to function properly, feel free to open a ticket, explaining your problem in detail will help me help you!
[Please note]
This plugin contains an auto-updater which will request, or download, updated files of Clearlag directly from this page. To disable this feature, open the config.yml, under plugins/Clearlag, and set auto-update to false.
Please do not post an issue until you've fully read the config located under /plugins/Clearlag/config.yml

You really should add a fix to bugged lava and water. I think that would be right to have in this plugin. Like when you take away some lava the half lava around wont disapear.
Hope you take this suggestion into your thoughts
@ronfkingswanson
Clearlag doesn't have anything to do with tnt, only if you clear all entities.
@bob7l
I've had this problem for some time now, through multiple spigot builds...
also - just now getting reports that players when setting off no more than 2 TNT are getting "bad compressed data format" errors and losing connection. ClearLagg is the only plugin I have managing anything to do with TNT.
using spigot build 436 (1.4.7)
@ronfkingswanson
Are you sure about this? The project would've been rejected if the class loaded up without having a config node.
@bob7l
I know its not *supposed* to happen, but it's happening with v1.8.0 - if I try to boot while dev.bukkit.org is down, I get this:
http://pastebin.com/wn9P7a7p
@ronfkingswanson
Well that's simply not possible, are you sure clearlag is causing this error? Post it on pastebin? Make sure your using the latest build?
@bob7l
tried that long ago, still barfs:
@ronfkingswanson
Oh I know it's very annoying, I'll add a failcheck for you. If you disable auto-update within the config clearlag wont even load the updaters class.
given the frequent outages of dev.bukkit.org, I would ask that you tweak the plugin to not crash upon loading when it can't contact bukkit.org... ;-)
@stefan041
bukkit.yml
How can you reduce the spawn rate of mobs? at the moment there are 50 mobs per chunk
It would be really nice if you could add the possibility, that chunk where a player died will be ignored.
sometimes its a really pain in the *, when u die 5 seconds befor clearlag starts.
@bob7l
that would be epic
Does anyone want to see a mob spawner tracker in the next release? Like:
/lagg examinespawners
It will run for about an hour, then log all the mobspawners found in a log.
You should add a way to completly disable drops in certain world like if you have a creative world you could just completley disable all drop
Using /lagg check, shows no items, but I drop one, and try it again, but still says there are no entities. Is this a problem with me or the plugin?
Hey boss, think it's possible to have it ignore itemframes and signs? (i'm only assuming it's paying attention to those because the chunk with the highest entities is the one with the shop) Also having the ability to specify
or any other specifics would be awesome. (trying to pin point where the excessive entities are on my server. after a day of being up)
@alqahtani
He won't change a command just because you want him to. You'll have to THINK and find a solution yourself.
@EncryptedCurse
It's confusing enough for people right now lol. You could download an external plugin like Automessage and just run the commands.
Can you add a possibility for multiple auto-clearing tasks? I'd like to have all the junk cleared every 5 minutes, but hostile mobs every 10 minutes.
