BOSEconomy
This plugin is no longer supported.
I have not updated this plugin in over a year, I barely even play Minecraft anymore, I've gotten a full-time job, and nobody else on the team is interested in developing it either. It's time to put it to rest. With the release of name changing in Minecraft 1.8, this plugin is no longer functional. Please do not use it anymore. The code is mediocre at best, and was written by a college student with no real-world programming experience. You really shouldn't want the source code. If somebody comes up with a script to convert BOSEconomy files to work with a different economy plugin, let me know via PM and I can include it on this page.
Thanks for the support I got while it lasted, and sorry for going silent and letting everyone down.

BOSEconomy is a simple, lightweight economy plugin. Every player owns an amount of currency and can make simple payments between one another. Read below to see all of the available features.
BOSEconomy stands for "Brotherhood of Slaughter Economy". The plugin was originally designed for our community's Minecraft server.
Features:
- Simplicity: install and go setup. Place the plugin in your folder and modify the files.
- Flexibility: Robust system able to accommodate the simplest of economy setups or the most complex economic setups to date.
- Reliability: Works with almost every Bukkit update without any need to update our plugin. ( no long waits for plugin fixes upon new Bukkit release )
- Standard: One of the leading Economy plugins. Backed by plugin API's such as Vault and Register. This means any plugin that uses vault or register as its backbone will make our plugin work with it without any need to change either persons code.
- Scalability: Control the functions of your econ based off of the size of your server base. With in game commands to modify almost every aspect of the plugin there is nothing you cant control.
- Ingenuity: Procedures put in place that provide the server owner with the "Sky is the limit" mindset. With options and controls to almost every aspect of the plugin there are hundreds of ways to make an econ system.
- Dependable: This plugin is constantly monitored and maintained. One of the most annoying factors to server owners is when a plugin loses support because of the owners disinterest in Minecraft. That will not occur with this as my communities server is very popular and proves to be a cornerstone for our gaming needs.

ICONOMY CONVERSION TOOL::
It may or may not work
if that does not work you can try this converter to for the mid files
@ihasamoose
OKay, we are working on something, but because of the complex nature of iConomy it is rather hard to get this to work right. We will see if we can have this converter setup but we cant promise anything.
@saldarine
Great to hear. Can't wait for PEX support and such.
@ihasamoose
Sadly, there is no conversion tool.... although in theory it shouldnt be hard to make one. I can talk to cosine about it.
Is it possible to import an iconomy database to BOSE? I really wanna convert, but dont want my hundreds of players to lose all their money in the conversion. I'm well aware that Iconomy is falling and would really like to use BOSE.
@boothegreat
I would assume a week or less, but i have said that before and it took 2. We are rushing to get it out! :P
So any idea when the update will be officially released?
So, 7.4 is looking to have a local private release some time this weekend. If all goes well it will hit the streets soon. This means, you will now have the following:
"Status update: I'm currently working on the new commands for managing permission accounts, as well as adding that feature to existing commands. I haven't started on the interest and tax brackets yet, and I think they may take a while. Given that v0.7.4 will be functional once permission accounts are done, I'd rather at least do a private release for our server to stress test the new features before piling the brackets on top of that. I'll bring this up again once I have a version ready for testing.
I've also made a couple minor changes so far. Bracket multipliers no longer need to be whole numbers, an there is now an "@me" account group which is just an alias for your own name. "
@saldarine Awesome! Maybe this could be a challenge to make the plugin even more advanced then it already is. I don't know anything of database types, but it is also possible with inventories (MultiINV, WorldInventories) so it should be possible. Good luck if you will try this! :D
@TeamAss
In the accounts configuration file ( or you can do this in game ) you can make a bank account not associated with any players. You can then add owners to the account, or members.
@AlienGamerZero
In theory, this would be possible. I can talk to him and see how hard it would be to accommodate. This would cause considerable more issues though since.... your writing to two files and two configs rather than one.
Is it possible to have multi-world money? Like i have on World1 10k money, but when I go to World2 i wil have the money that I got there from the last time, 14k If not, would you like to implement this? I would really like that!
@saldarine
I don't get what you mean. :O
@TeamAss
You can already do that. Create a bank in the accounts config, and assign people to the account that you want to have access.
Hey Cosine, just wondering if you could add this feature:
Individual bank accounts. So that each player have their own accounts in banks to store their money. Instead of storing them just in wallets. Just like IRL, you have bank accounts to store money, Withdraw/Deposit. Not just members/players storing money as one big pool of cash.
@saldarine
Cool, thank you :)
@mojothejojo
What? Right now it does not support the idea of XP for currency. It is possible for an addition in the future but that becomes a border of fringing upon another system all together. I will speak with Cosine about making some type of function for it... if it is simple we will add it to 7.4
saldarine: @mojothejojo: No, not even sure if that is possible... something to look at though. Nice idea
mojothejojo: Does this support XP as currency? @saldarine
Iconomy6 has something (but I dont get it to work), but EconXP works with XP as currency. But Citizens doesnt Support it yet. :(
@Swords761
No way to do it at this point. We asked him for this feature as well... he said he would look into it. Might be worth revisiting the issue with him.
Is it possible to get ChestShop to work with BOSEconomy banks? I know and have had success with it working for individual accounts, but a 2-person shop is something I'd also be interested in getting to work. I understand that it could be a limitation on ChestShop's side, but just wondering if there's a way to "trick" ChestShop into thinking a bank is a player or something, or just in other words getting the two to play nice with the bank system. Thanks.
@Gilbertamy
The list is only of people who have told me they support the plugin. Sorry if they are inactive. If your looking for a store plugin we use ChestShop. Seriously an epic system... let me know if you need anything else.
