Console Spam Fix
A bukkit/spigot utility plugin that allows you to hide desired messages or errors that appear on server console and logs. The messages or errors are only hidden and not fixed! Useful if you want to hide errors or messages that spam the server console and get huge sized server logs. This plugin was made to stop console spam when you can't have the issue fixed, to prevent other issues because of intense console spam and unreadable console logs. It's very useful on modded servers where some mods can cause a lot of console spam. This does not hide all errors! Only the ones you configure to be hidden!
Note! On modded servers some errors my not be hidden by this plugin due the fact that mods run on forge and some console messages are sent outside the main server thread.

Dude. Real talk. This is the plugin I've been waiting for since 2011, no joke. I remember freaking out over my first ugly error message to show up, and then realizing the plugin worked fine. The error would just keep clogging my log until the end of time or if I requested a fix from the developer.
Finally, at long last, I can stop my console from drowning in useless error messages and other obnoxious stuff! Thank you SO MUCH, bruny; as soon as I get some PayPal cash loaded, expect some gratitude in monetary form for giving me the gift of a clean console at long last! :D Sorry for sappiness, but after having run a server for 5+ years I'm still getting used to the fact that I'll only ever be seeing actual errors show up on the console now!
@BattleGroundServers
You did not understood what this does. This does not hide all errors from console, only the ones you want to. Since you know what you hide it's up to you why you do want to hide it. It's a tool. Please read all the description.
For example I need it on one of my modded servers where a mod was spamming the console and logs with an error so bad that the server was having issues because of the spam and not because of the error. Also the logs were 2GB in size. The error had no effects on the server gameplay but boy it was spamming hard. This plugin was done to fix that.
So you are recommending to not install this plugin, but have you even read the full description? Have you even downloaded the plugin? I think not, but thanks for your big recommendation! Probably everybody that uses this plugin are retarded as well... huh?
Best Console blocker!!!!
This sounds... actually retarded. It's like removing the check engine light in your car - you'll never know when there's a problem. I highly do not recommend installing this plugin!
Is there anyway you can change the order in which this plugin is loaded. It works perfectly fine, but there's a bunch of spam in my console, before this plugin ever loads. And naturally it only starts working after it has loaded.
Why do I want to hide an error. Well I made this plugin for one of my modded servers, one of the mods in the modpack was spamming the console very bad, and since I could not update the modpack myself to fix the problem I had to do something because the error become so spammy that the logs were 5GB in size also because of this intense spam the server was freezing sometimes and crash. Hiding that error that was not affecting the game in any way except the spam issue, reduced the logs to a normal size and also kept them readable. Without that mad spam the server is stable now. This is an example of why I needed this plugin. I just decided to post it here maybe someone else will need it too.
Indeed logging them to a log may be a solution, I'l think of that maybe on a future update, but that will need to make sure the log will not get in crazy large size.
Also note that this plugin only hides errors that you configure to be hidden, by default will not hide anything. So this will not hide all errors, but only the ones you want to.
Since it hides the errors that you configure the plugin to hide, I assume that you know what error you hidden, so i'm not sure why you need them logged in a separate file.
I agree with 2008Choco, I love the idea of a less-spamy console, but i do need the errors somewhere. Like he said, they could be logged somewhere and maybe it could even organize them, That'd be great. But all and all, great idea!
Why would you want to hide error messages? Often they are good to have in the console so you are able to report to the author of the plugin/mod developer that there is an issue in their code.
If you are to follow through with a plugin such as this, I would suggest instead rather than simply hiding it, also log them to their own little file that contains all the errors. A errors.txt file that generates every day, for example. So you would have files such as
Each file containing the errors that have occurred on the respective day. I would also make that feature toggleable just in case some server owners truly do not want to see the errors after-all as they're not interested in submitting the bugs to the authors for whatever reason.
Just a couple of suggestions. No need to take them, but it just helps us developers out a little bit more
