LaserCucumber Aug 04, 2016 at 20:57 UTC - 0 likesPLEASE keep this plugin updated. I don't want to have to use this stupid bloatware called Essentials.
I just installed the latest build you can find here (2 months old as of the time I'm posting this) and keeping my fingers crossed. http://builds.enginehub.org/job/commandbook?branch=master

Hey! Without the files, I can infer that it has integrated itself into the code of the server, like the ScriptCraft plugin I use for my own creations. So even if you delete it, you'll still have a partial version of it within your server source code. Try deleting your server files, redownload everything, and reload all your worlds, plugins, etc. Just do not reload the additional files it may have created (ex: folders named "command_book addons")

Vitalbra Mar 13, 2016 at 02:37 UTC - 0 likesI'm having some issues disabling CommandBook muting and replacing it with my chat plugin's, is it possible to disable it? I've done it on the disabled components, but it still doesn't seem to help, anyone have an answer to this issue?

I'm "working" now for a week with just a recompiled version of CommandBook (latest "version" of code on Github) and the latest WorldEdit Dev Build without any issues. So please tell me what is broken.
Do you updated WorldEdit to the latest dev build? (for 1.9 Support)

Thanks SalC1 that's saved the server from a new map for a while. Works great.

SalC1 Mar 05, 2016 at 18:06 UTC - 1 likeI have been using CommandBook for my server for 4 years and I just updated to 1.9. Essentials is NOT AN OPTION at all for me due to my server setup. Many things like /fly and errors every time a player joins are evident when you run this with 1.9. Does anybody have any alternative to this plugin that does not include Essentials?
UPDATE:
Attention everyone running 1.9! After a while of being frustrated and clicking links, I have found a build that was released 10 months ago that will work with 1.9 without errors. Make a backup of your config before updating because it will be reset and you must reconfigure it. I am still hoping for someone to maybe create an alternative to this plugin due to the developer stopping development on this plugin. Anyways, here's the link: http://builds.enginehub.org/job/commandbook?branch=master

Schneidertm Mar 01, 2016 at 19:59 UTC - 0 likesThis plugins works on 1.9 but it needs to be recompiled. But I think the support is almost dropped since dark arc quitted development.
