Radiation
Add radiation to your minecraft worlds. Feralkyn have some idea:

...a world which is actually affected by radiation, where players find a use for certain armor sets and items, where certain blocks and normally boring biomes would have to be approached with caution; I think it could add an element of fun, immersion and realism to post-apocalyptic servers.
All what you can find here:
- Blocks, biomes, rain, items in your inventory can cause radiation
- Some blocks, armor, biomes can lessing radiation
- Radiation would cause potions effect like blackened screen, food poisoning, damage
- "safe zones" regions where radiation can't work on players
- Terrain Control custom biomes support
- data can be saved in flatfile or MySQL database

It wuild be greate if you can change affect high ( Y ), like from 128 to sky (256) or ant the bedrock from 12 to 0

No, sry, this plugin is for fully radiated world..
Is it possible to make everything default safe, so I can make only certain areas radiated?
i try to find out if the MFFS-mod(energyshield for IC) shield-block have a ID to write it in the protectionblock but i dont know it.. maybe you can add an option to protect an area with this shields and define the protection-rate..
and the second idea is: maybe a configurable mode, actually.. everything is radioactive with would exclude from the safezones, but maybe, some peoples need that nothing is radioactive with would explude from the "dangerzones"

Is it possible to have just a helmet negate all radiation damage? I am having difficulty setting that part up, I just want to set a chainmail helm (item 302) but typing 302:1.0 doesn't have the desired effect?

No, it isn't possible with my radiation core, it is made for static radiation level for blocks, biomes, armor... Radiation is made for aplly for full world no only for some areas. And about levels, plugin have 4 levels now...
You should make it that radiation areas/items give you a certain number of 'rads' per second, and if the player accumulates enough 'rads' they aquire 'Radiation Poisoning'. You could make 3 levels, each depleting health at a certain rate and maybe the 2nd and 3rd levels can add a potion effect like slowness, etc.
I didn't have much time for my "small" plugins, becouse I worked on custom plugins for one server and SimpleRegionMarket, but I will try to update Radiation, and add new features.

i got better radiation plugin, with radiation zones, items that displays rads in ground and in your body, and other other stuff, but it isnt updated to newest version, if you want i give you source code and you wil update it :D do you want so?
Is there a way to disable Radiation on selected worlds in multiverse?
I believe you meant the potion effect blindness when you said blackened screen.
Biome radiation does not seem to be functioning. My config is as follows:
Apart from TerrainControl, WorldEdit, and WorldGuard, I am using no other plugins. Any idea why this is happening?

Yes, here is multiworld support... Do you mean DynMap..? It is posible to make it multiworld too, you must make new shader with other name, and same class...
