Phoenix Terrain
Phoenix Terrain was created originally from Buycress's code for the Biome Terrain Mod for SSP and SMP. Rising from the ashes R-T-B continued the project based on his code for custom World Generation. While he no longer supports Phoenix Terrain shortly near the end Khorn ported the modification to a bukkit plugin, where it still exists.
Due Rebelj12a is offline now this page will not be updated. This plugin renamed to TerrainControl.
@ThePixar14
Go to http:dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/terrain-control/
Update this plugins please !!!
Does this still work with 1.2.4 or 1.2.5?
I think theres a bug in the yaml file that comes in the zip.
This is what it says in the yaml:
But it only works like this:
Please update this plugins itsss great :D
I really hope this is updated to 1.0.0 when it is released! It's an amazing plugin.
keep up the good work :)
Really interesting idea:
Have a way to generate worlds similar similar to the Twilight Forest mod(the world type would be normal, just using configuration options). Lower the general terrain level, make the massive trees,mazes,caves, etc that it generates. I'm also keeping in mind that not all aspects could be replicated.
Since this plugin doesn't come with documentation, and reading 30+ pages of forum messages is such a chore, I'm writing an article for PhoenixTerrainMod on the bukkit wiki. It's easier to use 'living document' format like a wiki article than to wait for a forum header post to be updated.

I will include SteelCrow's explanations of what he (she?) found out about configuration files, but I will reformat her (his?) documentation to match the format of the 0.9.6 config files.
Excellent work, already able to tweak and twist to get interesting effects, such as ore distribution that better suits my tastes, and discarding some biomes in favour of others. I am looking forward to completed documentation of the PhoenixTerrainModSettings.ini and BiomeConfigs/*.ini files.
@micdoodle8
Also having issues getting what I expect. I don't suppose there's some docs on the newer stuff...
Hey guys, I can't seem to get the world to generate any differently...
I modified that Bukkit.yml correctly, I added the code settings that I wanted, but when I delete the world to let it regenerate, nothing is different.
Any ideas? Thanks
this is cool that PTM is in 1.8 version of Minecraft but all those new things that apears are a little not understadable
could you post a new page for we can nknow how to use this new version ?
appart from that, your plugin realy worth it
PhoenixTerrainMod v0.9.6 on CB1323:
2 Bugs we've encountered:
- Proper BOBs are invisible when placed! When you bump them with another block they become visible.
- Replacing 9=0 to get rid of water in the world leaves lighting issues on the former place of the water block (its rendered and calculated as dark).
Breaking blocks seems to update the lighting but as soon as any plugin changes blocks in that area again the former water lighting is back (We've tested it with the Meteorshower plugin: You change a block and lighting gets updated - a meteor hits the area, changes terrain and the previous dark lighting is back)
Keep up the good work! We love the possibilities of this mod!
@rushalka
You could try the old page: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/wgen-phoenixterrainmod-v0-8-2-now-bobs-spawn-from-saplings-1060.28520/
Is there any usable information on this plugin? It appears useful, but through this page alone I'm seeing no setup information.
@Khoorn Thanks for keeping this alive. Life without PTM is like downgrading from a tank to a tricycle.
It will be :) Read plugin thread.
I will cry with you...
