Loot
Requirements:
- KBPL
- If the version in the title is higher than the one on the 'recent files' list, then you will have to wait until bukkit approves the latest version since KBPL could be updated and have code that does not work with previous versions of the plugin.
What it does:
The title pretty much says it all! But to be a bit more detailed, Loot makes it easy to create chests with randomly generated loot. The best part? No commands. Oh did I mention that it adds random enchantments to armor and weapons and can spawn random potions? Yeah, that too. Its the perfect loot generator for custom dungeons and worlds with randomly generated schematics.
Features:
- Automatic Chest Regeneration Refills chests automatically using a list of items that you configure.
- Enchantments You can configure whether loot chests will spawn items with random enchantments, or you can specify the enchantments yourself.
- Potion Effects Same as the enchantments, but with potions.
- Item naming Specify a name for the items spawned in a chest! You can also configure the plugin to let it add a random preffix/suffix to enchanted items, dependent of the enchantments applied.
- Lore Add lore to any item for that true rpg feel!
- Books You can set the title, author and text of books generated!
- Colors You can set the colors of the names/lore/whatever of each item.
- Randomness A lot of the properties of any item can be randomized, including the enchantments applied, name, amount, data value, chance for it to spawn at all, etc.
- Redstone Force a chest to reset by powering the sign!

- loot.sign.create - Lets you create Loot signs.
- loot.sign.break - Lets you break Loot signs.
- loot.command.name - Ability to use the command /loot name
- loot.command.reload - Ability to use the command /loot reload
- loot.list.x - Permission to open loot chests of x list

If this plugin is missing that certain special feature, bribe me and I will gladly work on it!
While I am updating and squashing bugs for free, working on new features requires time and everyone knows that time equals money.
I am however, open to suggestions that are directly related and crucial to the plugin.
Fixed AGAIN! Loot is missing the check how far away player is now but at least its working on 1.12.2.

I believe I have fixed an error in spigot with the depreciated getplayeronline by useing the deprecation mappings.

Adding the lore should work with &7<enchantment <level>
I can confirm, this works in 2016! I ran this with 1.9.4(spigot) minecraft and through a few hours of tiral and error, I realized that the config files that were generated when the plugin first installed were incorrect. Here is the correct setup:
The author actually posted this in his documentation: HERE. I didn't find it until much later and still had problem with non-printing utf-8 characters breaking the code. You will have to type it out yourself or something. The timer works, items are fully customization, this very useful for dungeon maps(that's all I would use it for). Although, it does throw an exception to the console, it looks very very ugly, although it doesn't seem to interfere with the plugin's functionality as I'm using it anyway. I really urge for the revival of this project, a few fixes here and there. I'm using this for a dungeon world on my local test server. Used dungeonMazes to generate a massssive dungeon, and used loot to fill the chests there with better loot!

Does this plugin work with custom enchantment created using the enchantapi plugin? If So this plugin is going to be perfect for me
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible, with this plugin, or another one that anyone may know of, to only make the loot chest open-able if there are no hostile mobs in a configurable radius?
This plugin is extremely hard to use... I can't even get it to restock chests. It may be because I am using 1.8 ? But even then... Could someone tell me how to use it?

That is not what I mean. Like different people can loot the same chest after it was already looted. (E.g. Sam, opens the chest, and loots every thing in it, it is now empty, the 15 minute reset timer starts ticking, but then 30 seconds later Bill opens the same chest and there is still loot there.)

Loot can be per player, just make a list specific to the player youd like it to be for, maybe name the list with the player name, then give just that player the permission node loot.list.(playername)
Make the loot per player, and fix world chest loot in the config, as it has to have a sign under it even if I set the whole world to have loot.
I work for an update for this plugin.
I'm assuming it doesn't work in 1.7 because it always tells me it can't find a list that clearly exists.

Me too. But I'd like to see 2 features, first having chests that do not regenerate, maybe with a sign under it saying [Loot] no gen
That would be nice. Also, Item "groups". Like the whole group of items in a list has a chance of spawning, and if the group is choosen and every item in teh group has a chance of 100% to spawn, then every item out of that group gets spawned. So like having sub-lists.
can someone make me a completed list of the .yml for a koth style event like diamonds god apples iron swords diamond swords etc also food armour and anything really also with enchantments would be cool
