Supported versions:
- Dynmap v1.7.1 or later
- Residence v2.6.6.5 or later
Dynmap-residence provides a simple way to add visibility of Residence zones and subzones on Dynmap's maps. The plugin depends on the presence of both Dynmap and Residence, and interacts directly with the Residence API. Updates to zones are automatically updated (on a settable period - default is once per 5 minutes (300 seconds)), or by listening for custom update events from Residence. By default, the plugin will be active after simply installing it (by unzipping the distribution into the plugins/ directory and restarting the server.
Visibility of regions can be controlled via the 'visibleregions' and 'hiddenregions' settings. Besides listing the names of the regions to be made visible or hidden, entries with the format 'world:<worldname>' can be used to make all regions on a given world visible or hidden.
Also, the display of the region outlines can be restricted to a minimum zoom-in level, via the 'minzoom' setting. When non-zero, this setting causes the region outlines to only be displayed at or beyond the given zoom-in level.
Note: If you are currently using the region component for Residence in Dynmap, you should disable that support while installing dynmap-residence.
Configuration:
After the first load, there will be a config.yml file in the plugins/dynmap-residence directory. Details of the default configuration, and all the provided settings, can be found here

Hi :) Thanks for your incredible work with your plugins! I'm trying to enable the 3D Regions option to give users an even better experience when usin Dynmap, but when I set to TRUE the "use3dregions" option nothing happens, the "Residences" layer keeps like if this option was still set to FALSE. Could you help me?
Details: CraftBukkit version: git-Bukkit-1.7.2-R0.3-b3020jnks (MC: 1.7.2) (API version 1.7.2-R0.3) Residence version: 2.6.6.6 Dynmap version: core=1.9.4-1940, plugin=1.9.4-991 (I have tried with Dynmap-Residence versions: 0.5 & 0.6 & Head [v0.60-23]) (I also use ResidenceSigns v2.9)
Thanks again and greetings from Argentina :D
@last: Did you submit a ticket on that? I noticed the other day mine wasn't working, either. Same situation, doesn't show any error in logs, but when you mouse over residences, it doesn't display the info anymore..
Can you add another option to:
forRentRENTEDStrokeColor: ...
Im sure it stopped working on 1.7 versions. I have no errors, but the residence will not show on the dynmap ):
This not updating anymore?
I coudlnt get it to run last version for some reason.
Resdepth seems to have broken with the recent versions of residence. Worked fine in 0.30 and 0.40dev until sometime around the 2.6.6.x versions of Residence. Now shows all subzones instead of the depth limit.
When you update the plugin?
@Blindleistung
This should be working now, although if you are depending on github source, you cannot expect the plugin developers to have it compatible as key changes are made to the source between each build, sometimes editing and reediting those same changes, which makes expecting third party plugins to adapt to work with the dev build a bit insensible considering the changes they adapt to might just be completely changed a day later. Although with this particular situation it resulted from a mistake in an edit to an api method so it SHOULD all be working fine now, although there are no guarantees.
@nate302
Hmmm...
2.6.6 is the version I get when loading Residence as source from Github. I am not using the prebuilt version as I modified it a little to my needs. Doing that with an older version than head is just extra work.
But as it is already on the way, works well and will hit the bukkit page soon, it will be needed sometime.
Anyone know whats the difference which breaks it? anything that might be easy to fix? (I don't feel like debugging that...)
@Blindleistung
That's because you shouldn't be using anything higher than 2.6.5.2 Get the latest current release of this from the bukkit page.
@Blindleistung
I have noticed this as well with both version 0.30 and 0.40, ticket submitted.
Looks like this version, 0.30, no longer works with Residence 2.6.6 and nees a new one.
Nice Plugin... its working
@Avadis
Anytime you expand a res by adding areas, your going to get a whole new square on dynmap residence. Changing the stroke to match the fill color and opacity is about your only option.
i would suggest see if you can get rid of the stroke for them
How can i make smooth Residence on Dynmap? As example: Ich create a residence with /res create test When I created this Residence this is logically square I add with /res area add test! Now I add another to the Residence is located exactly at the other residence. Now I have 2 Residence under the same name, which are next to each other. Wenni I look now at the Dynmap I have but two frames, which run into one another. How can I join this that the frame go around the corner?
i dont know if it was this addon or res it self but on rare rare rare occasions res will not load on reboot
@MoonPie2000
Still haven't had any issues with Dev 0.30 on Dynmap 0.70.2, 0.70.3, 0.80, on Bukkit 2341-2358. But 0.20 never worked if youre still using that.
