uConnect
About
Uconnect is an inter-server utility that allows messaging, friends and other utilities that can be accessed between servers!
Usage:
(Aliases: /uc)
| /uconnect msg | The messaging service. |
| /uconnect profile | View a players profile. |
| /uconnect setprofile | Set various settings in your profile. |
| /uconnect news (Page) | View the current uconnect news on page (Page) |
| /uconnect createnews | Not available to users. |
| /uconnect deletenews | Not available to users. |
| /uconnect servers | Servers. |
| /uconnect friends | Friend people. |
Messaging
The messaging service sends messages between servers, It notifies the player when they receive a message and also has the option for players to block people being unkind to them.
Usage:
Note: All playernames in uconnect are CaSe SeNsItIve
| /uconnect msg send <Player> <Msg> | Sends <Player> the msg <Msg> if they haven't blocked you. |
| /uconnect msg clear | Clears your msg inbox. |
| /uconnect msg read (Page) | Reads page (Page) of your msg inbox. |
| /uconnect msg block <Player> | Blocks <Player> from messaging you. |
| /uconnect msg unblock <Player> | If <Player> is blocked from messaging you, it will unblock them. |
| /uconnect msg blocked (Page) | Lists the players you have blocked from messaging you. |
Profiles
This is the viewing of player profiles. The profiles contain if you are online and the information set in their profile using /uconnect setprofile.
Usage:
Note: All playernames in uconnect are CaSe SeNsItIve
| /uconnect profile <Player> | Views the profile of <Player> |
Setting your profile
This is where users can set what their profile shows to other players. They can set their favorite server, preferred method of contact (eg. uc msg, bukkit, etc...) and about themselves. (All are publicly visible and optional)
Usage:
Note: You can use colour codes such as &a, etc.. in the <Value> segments
| /uconnect setprofile favserver <Value> | Sets your favorite server to <Value> |
| /uconnect setprofile contact <Value> | Sets your preferred method of contact to <Value> - eg. "Just msg me" |
| /uconnect setprofile about <Value> | Sets your statement about you to <Value> |
The news system
This system allows users to see news about uconnect. These are posted by developers (Like storm345) on new features, etc..
Usage:
| /uconnect news (Page) | View the news of page (Page) |
| /uconnect createnews <Article> <Story> | Creates a news article (Developers only) |
/uconnect deletenews <Article> - Deletes a news article (Developers only)
Servers
The servers is simply a list of user submitted servers.
Usage:
| /uconnect servers list (Page) | See the servers submitted. |
| /uconnect servers add <Ip> <About> | Submit a server to the list. |
| /uconnect servers delete <Ip> | Deletes a server. (To avoid grief-not available to users. Please REQUEST the deleting of the server to storm345, etc...) |
Friends
This is a personal friendlist of people you are friends with. Although the names on the list are private, the players that have friended you can see the number of people on the list.
Usage:
Note: All playernames in uconnect are CaSe SeNsItIve
| /uconnect friends add <Player> | Adds <Player> to your friends list |
| /uconnect friends remove <Player> | Removes <Player> from your friends list. |
| /uconnect friends view <Player> | Views the friend <Player> |
| /uconnect friends list (Page) | Lists the names of your friends. |
| /uconnect friends overview/over (Page) | Shows your friends, if they are online and other info. |
