TrailofBlood
Description
TrailofBlood is a simple plugin to have more fun in pvp battles. This plugin will create a trail of blood if a player is hit. The length of this effect and the intensity is based on the damage the player receives.
How to install
Drop the TrailofBlood.jar into your /plugins folder.
Restart your server
Now every player in every world has a trail of blood if he receives damage.
If you want to modify the default trail in general or if you want to add a new trail only for higher ranks or something else you should open the config. For more information about the setting and trails in the config file klick the "Config.yml" button below.

Bugs
There are no known bugs anymore. If you find one please report it.
To be able to see the particles the client has to set "View Bobbing" to "ON".

- Adding a function to control which damage can create a trailofblood
- Adding trails for all mobs

Plugin Metrics
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.
Maybe the admin forgot my file, so i deleted and reuploaded it. I hope it takes less than five days this time.

I have uploaded a version which should run on the newest craftbukkit-versions yesterday. I reorganised the imports and replaced some of the version-depeding imports with new imprts of the bukkit-api.

Ahw what a shame, thanks for the reply anyways!
That's not possible because the blood is simulated by lava particles. I could create a option for water particles, but that wouldn't be a good idea because it's just look terrible and the particles are gone after 1 second.
Heya, first of all, great plugin! It's almost like it's supposed to be in the game!
I do have one request; a config option to change the colour of the blood. I don't like the fading from near yellow-to-red thingy, and I'd also like something like coloured blood or maybe even some 'Rainbow' feature for special members and/or admins. I hope this is possible!

@duLouser I just want to tell you the Bleed Damage and this plugin will spawn many blood (That will cover all of my screen) when your target's maxhealth had many. That's one of disadvantage.
This is an awesome plugin! i have one suggestion could you make it so we can chose what block break particles happen for a certain group? Thanks! Keep up the good work!

I'm not very proud of the sourcecode. I wrote all in one class and i'm using a lot of hashmaps. In fact it is not a code i want to show. :/

I still doesn't get what you want to tell me. I think you want that a entity which took damage and has just 90% or 80% health left recieves damage for a while? I guess you were talking about "continuing injuries", but in fact the entity would die after some time just because he took a little bit of damage.
@duLouser When your damage reach the specified levels (10%?) of enemy health after your enemy will therefore to get continuing injuries.
Also, The blood how many is depending the max health of mob. That way will make many lag from my mythic boss.
Would you be so kind as to post the source code on GitHub or something? Thanks if you can. Sorry if this has already been asked Dx

I'm not sure what you want me to do. Could you please specify your message?
I know that other plugins show particles of a destroyed block to simulate blood. I also added an option for this to the config. Maybe you should change "heavy_bleed" in the config to true.
