TARDISWeepingAngels
Downloads
I'm too lazy to upload TARDISWeepingAngels files to Bukkit anymore, as builds are automatically created when the plugin is updated and changes pushed to GitHub.
For 1.15.2, please downloadTARDISWeepingAngels and TARDISWeepingAngels Resource Pack from the TARDIS Jenkins server: http://tardisjenkins.duckdns.org:8080/
Inspired by: TARDIS Ticket #530 - Weeping Angels
This plugin tranforms skeletons into terrifying Weeping Angels (as seen on Doctor Who), zombies into Cybermen and Pig Zombies into angry Ice Warriors. Version 2 adds Daleks, Empty Children, Sontarans (and Strax), Silurians, Zygons, Silent and Vashta Nerada! Version 3 adds Ood, Judoon, Toclafane and K9 :)

Weeping Angel Information
Weeping Angels only spawn at night in loaded chunks. They spawn with iron armour and are equipped with a barrier block in each hand (their wings).
Weeping Angels can only be killed with the configured weapon - by default a DIAMOND_PICKAXE - hitting them with anything else has no effect. When they die they drop random amounts (1-3) of the configured items (STONE and COBBLESTONE by default), and very rarely a skull.
The angels move pretty fast, but you can freeze them in place by looking at them and quickly pressing the sneak key. Better arm yourself or flee quickly though, as they'll be after you again in a snap - and if they touch you, you'll be teleported away to a random location. If the TARDIS plugin is also installed (if it isn't WHY NOT?), your TARDIS Key will be stolen.
Cybermen Information
Cybermen can spawn at anytime. They spawn with iron armour.
If configured, Cybermen will upgrade villagers and players when they have killed them (a new Cyberman) spawns in their place. If the upgraded entity was a player, the new Cyberman displays the player's name above its head.
Ice Warrior Information
Ice Warriors are really angry. They can spawn at anytime, but only spawn in snowy, icy or cold biomes. They carry an ice dagger. Did I mention they're angry!
Dalek Information
Daleks are skeletons disguised as retextured snowmen. They come in different colours, but mostly spawn in their typical bronze colour. Exterminate!
Empty Children
Empty Children spawn anytime, and are of course child size. If you are killed by an Empty Child you get a gas mask applied to your head when you respawn that you can't remove for 30 seconds.
Judoon
Judoon are the police force of the Whoniverse. Click an Judoon to claim it as your own. You can equip Judoon with ammunition (craft with arrows and gunpowder and put into a shulker box, then right click the Judoon with the box). Judoon can then be toggled to be in guard mode and will shoot any hostile mobs nearby. Use the /twa follow command to make the Judoon follow you around.
Ood
Ood spawn randomly around villagers. Click an Ood to claim it as your own. Use the /twa follow command to make the Ood follow you around.
K-9
You can either craft a K-9 or tame a wolf to get a K-9! Clicking a K-9 will toggle whether he will follow you or stay put. The crafting recipe is 3 iron ingots, 3 redstone, and 3 bones in the crafting grid:
III RRR BBB
Silurians
Only spawn underground in caves. Watch out for their Silurian guns!
Sontarans
Sontarans will try to kill you (as any good Sontaran should). If you manage to right-click a Sontaran with a Weakness Potion before he kills you, he will transform into Strax.
Strax
If you right-click Strax he'll talk to you, and if you right-click him with an empty bucket, you'll be able to milk him. Yum, yum Sontaran lactic fluid :) Be careful not to anger him though as he'll go rabid on you and let his killer Sontaran instincts get the better of him!
Vashta Nerada
Vashta Nerada have a random (configurable) chance of spawning when a bookshelf is broken, say "Hey who turned out the lights?" and of course try to eat you!
Zygons
Zygons don't do much yet (except try to kill you), but they look pretty cool. Watch this space...

Configuration

Mob idea: Broken Cyberman. Low spawn chance when spawning cyberman; will not stop pursuing its target, no matter who aggros it or how far you run, until it dies. Can use portals (hooks to tie into other transportation plugins). ”Recruits” any regular cybermen in a configurable radius while pursuing target; they swarm along and will follow until player leaves world or kills them (they revert to regular follow distance if Broken Cyberman is killed before they are).
A new addition
Suggestions for what they should do? Let me know if you have any cool ideas.
In reply to eccentric_devotion:
Oooooo, they could spawn underwater, maybe in temple-type underwater structures (a la the stuff on the other TARDIS planets), or maybe just in caves. Could give 'em tridents, they seems pretty on-theme.
#featurerequest
Oh my god. You should use the Giant mobs for a "Lady Liberty" Angel.
Lorinth's RPG Mobs now has integration for this plugin, as of v1.8.3.
Just an FYI.
I think I've installed the plugin wrong somehow, but I can't figure it out... All of the mobs that wear armour don't have the armour retextured. So you'll have Cybermen and Zygons with the proper heads and arms, but wearing iron and gold armour. I tried installing Lib's Disguises to see if that would make a difference, but it didn't help. I'm not sure if OptiFine is required, but I have version 1.15.2 HD U G1 pre16 of it installed and can confirm it's working because the NEW police box is textured properly. And I'm running build #9 and build #27 of the Weeping Angels and TARDIS resource packs from Jenkins, respectively.

[TARDIS] TARDIS version: 4.4-b2101
[TARDIS] TARDISChunkGenerator version: 4.3.2
[TARDIS] Server version: 1.15.2-R0.1-SNAPSHOT git-Spigot-2040c4c-933e909 (MC: 1.15.2)
In reply to Forge_User_43264701:
Needs Optifine for armor retexturing, but in Optifine for 1.15.2 that feature doesn't currently work - https://github.com/sp614x/optifine/issues/3588
However if you have the latest resource pack, then you should at least see textured heads and arms as they don't rely on Optifine

TWA b#141
PaperMC 1.15.2, b#122
If a Cyberman gets trapped underwater, he turns into a Drowned/Cyberman hybrid.
Very strange.
I'm not sure if it's something I have set up wrong, but the K-9 wolves are all broken looking and crazy, like the axes got swapped somewhere or something. Next time I find one I'll remember to take a screenshot (using the newest RP from the Jenkins page).
Finally, do you have plans to re-do the Silence & K-9, like you have the Weeping Angel, so that enabling them doesn't change the appearance of vanilla mobs?
In reply to ReverendJesus:
K-9 have already been changed to armour stands and are no longe wolves - I'd say you have some old texture/optifine files still in your resource pack.
Hard to change the appearance of Endermen/Silence as they don't have armour to retexture and wear. Though I have done an armour stand texture for them already...
In reply to eccentric_devotion:
Since you have armor stand versions of all these guys, have you given any thought to exporting them as MythicMobs or something similar?
(also, love these Silence models, they look great).
Here's another new one...

Is there a way to play TARDISWeepingAngels without LibsDisguises?
In reply to leothawne:
No, but you can download LibsDisguises for free, you just don't get the premium features (which TWA doesn't use anyway)Yes, TWA no longer uses LibsDisguises :)
Using Libsdisguises 1.13.1 build #230, and protocolLib 4.40
All the other mobs look fine, but the Dalek all still look like snowmen. I've got all the texture files baked into my server resource pack, and finally got Optifine 1.13.1 up and running, but the Dalek are still adorable, cuddly snowmen screaming "EXTERMINATE." It's very disconcerting!
I might note that I'm getting this error on both Linux & Win10 installations of Minecraft.
In reply to RevJesus:
Either LibsDisguises is not actually enabled (it won't be unless you've paid for premium) or the resource pack is not correct.
From the LibsDisguises plugin page on Spigot:
