Presenting SUPER SKY BROS. Brawl, a new plugin designed to allow the common server owner the ability to create the similar game play experience from the SCB servers, but with your own features and ideas. Almost every aspect of this plugin will be customizable by you, the server administrator.
What is Super Sky Bros Brawl?
Super Sky Bros. is played in an arena of 4 to 8 people. The players all choose unique classes in the lobby to arm themselves against the other players. The classes are all themed after different mobs in Minecraft. Once the match starts, the players are teleported into an arena, where they must fight it out to be the winner of the match! Every player has five lives, and once you run out of lives, you're out of the game. The last man standing wins, and with the title of winner comes the gloating.

Hi just like to let you know I am back online after some personal issues and also, we had a storm that left our house without power for 5 days. This is one of the downsides of living in the country miles from anywhere, they always leave you last to fix things. As requested I will put together a section on the website that I will detail current progress in different areas of the plugin. A big issue with making a single plugin that works on both dedicated SSB servers and in mixed servers where you run it with other plugins is that the amount of features it includes (leveling system, boss bar, unique weapons) require so much CPU that mixed servers with other big plugins (Factions, multiworld/multiverse, Towny, etc.) will just get bogged down. An example would be:
You have factions on a server. When a player:
- chats, SSB will check if the chat needs to be processed by SSB
- places a block, SSB will check if that needs to be cancelled if it's in a SSB world
- dies, SSB needs to decide if SSB should broadcast that to SSB players
- Much more

Development build will return as soon as the next approved version is out at some point I want everybody using the same version till then.
Known bugs:
- Users without Java 7 will have errors
- Please note this plugin is not finished yet
- This means signs, classes, and gameplay won't work yet.
I can't believe so many people on here are still complaining about this plugin. I feel your pain Relicum. If you are willing to do anything for free for people, they take it for granted, scream at you when it's not done, and act like total pricks when you tell them to wait.
I'm more into animation, and you have no idea how many people are like that. I used to make Minecraft Intro's completely free of charge just for the extra practice I could get out of them. And all of the people who I did intro's for complained the ENTIRE 3-5 days it took me to make them a completely original, professional looking 3D Minecraft intro because it was "taking me too long." And I would get messages from them saying things like "Will you hurry up with the intro? It's been a full day now and I'm sick of waiting."
Take all the time you need to finish this plugin Relicum. I'm aware your main goal wasn't really to finish this specific minigame, but to get a fully working minigame framework. Don't let these selfish kids bring you down to their level while they complain about you making them a free, professional minigame plugin. If they want a minigame plugin without having to wait on you, I say they code the plugin themselves.

You can't join a game currently. The features will come in a future update. The release date of the new update is not yet known. It might be a few weeks. or maybe a couple months. We don't know yet.
Hey, I would like to know how to join a game and when the features will come etc. When does the new update come out? and the superskybsmash plugin (cause it seems epic)

There is a mixed server option and a dedicated one.
When the plugins completed, will it use the entire server or not?¿
When ever I try to setspawn in a arena it says "Error: you have tried to set a spawn point that is not in a arena.

This is exactly why I have not posted on the forums, I have watched over the last 2 months, ppl fighting between themselves.
By the way this guy has had a tmp ban on spigot forums due to shit stirring.
Thats the response I gave 10 mins after writing it, it all came down to my dyslexia.
-In regards to this project it is not dead, regardless of the time it has take. Mainly due to me re coding it about 5 times. I have removed worldedit dependency , have written my own, well in rerags to region creation and the math Utils that go with it. I have written my own "void" generator that's build write into the plugin. I have coded maybe 8 other modules that are all separate but also can plug directly into this framework. Why isn't is showing on Github that's because its under private repos, also my Jenkins allows private build jobs to, there is twice as many hidden jobs that is shown to the general public, I will of course make it all public again when its in a suitable state.But do remember that this was only ever an experimental project. My main aim is to have a fully functioning Game API. I ever have my over plugin if thats the write word. Where I have created a abstract class that you extend my class not javaplugin. This allows me to add in these modules I have spoken about as you going register the modules you want loaded. As its all internal it makes it really good to code with.
Do not rely on this plugin as I never know when it will be released. But with all these modules have written as they can also run stand alone as well, I have given them to selected servers and all modules have been bug tested and fixed. BUT it will be released most likely when you least expect it.
Yes 10 months has passed please don't think it has taken 10 months to code SuperSkyBros, that is just a small part of my end goal. I have said this from day one its all experimental, the end result won't be experimental as everything will of already been tested before any release.
We have brought another house so I will at last be able to get decent internet soon as thats in place I will live stream a lot, most all of me coding, so if ppl are interested you can come along and watch maybe learn something or the very least when your seen the codebase you understand why its hard work, as I know some of you are aware its no secret I have coded 100% of this. That's by choice not due to anybody being lazy. They have all been fighting fire on here.
Here is an example or just a small module I wrote for my framework, it uses tellraw , sent through the console to send click and hover messages, why is this different from the few out there ?? NO NMS/Reflection or packets mods involved. The players do not require any perms either . Send Messages Using Tellraw Look at the JavaDocs to get more info, its 90% done.
So.. The project is dead?..

@zombiekiller753 I'm not sure how relicum does things with craftbukkit or the API. But as far as I know (what he told me) is that this plugin has so many features and lines of code that (almost) every update at least something doesn't work correctly anymore, or could be done better.
Just wanted to give a small update on why there seems to not be any activity but instead there is a lot. Just not available for the public.
Also about cloudbees, I guess he has multiple cloudbees accounts. Hope this "answers" your comment.
Actually, version updates shouldn't be that big of a "nightmare". The only nightmare was the transition from 1.6.4 to 1.7.2, with all the packet refactoring. I assume that has already been transitioned, so I'm not sure what other nightmares there are.
Also, you're 'slightly' exaggerating with the "plugin breaks every update" thing. Unless Relicum is coding based on OBC (org.bukkit.craftbukkit) and not even touching the API, then it shouldn't break at all.
Finally, abalabahaha, I'm not comparing this to Essentials in terms of developers. I'm saying that for any given plugin, there exists a point in time where anything past that point will not make the plugin any better. Think of it like something that looks like a bell curve. As the curve goes up, the plugin has the potential to get better, but as time passes more and the curve drops, the potential is gone.
btw, XRECKXIMPACT, I do know what it takes to make plugins. I do it all the time, on a network scale. And you're also right. I'm sure the stuff Essentials has is nowhere near what this has, considering Essentials is a server backbone, like ablabahaha said, whereas this is a minigame. What I don't understand, and you're absolutely right, is what's taking this long. Unless Relicum is so busy (assuming that he's the only one working on it and everyone else just posts "be patient") that he can't even give status updates or push to a public repo once every few weeks, I'm honestly don't understand what could take this long.

Guys, this plugin has 2 githubs. 1 public, 1 private. The public one is very outdated the private one has almost been updated 10 hours a day every day lately. @Relicum has been working almost 24/7 on this plugin. But since he's doing this alone atm and he's fighting every minecraft/bukkit update. He has to hardcore code this plugin so it won't break with any minecraft/bukkit update. This is really hard and takes a really long time. 1.7 and 1.8 give tons of new features in the game. Although this seems cool, it is the worst nightmare for coders. They have to, sometimes, completely remake their work. Which is the case here. Any small dev/beta/recommended bukkit update, this plugin breaks. It's really hard and time consuming to make a plugin which doesn't break every small update. Please know that this is just a small update. Relicum is going to post a big explanation soon or later I think.

All I can tell you is, look at the github for this plugin. Sure it was last updated 4 months ago, but it is already better than that other one you are mentioning ^^
