Features:
- An entity (player, animal) in light will be set on fire. Stepping into shade will douse the entity.
- The entire plugin can be turned off if necessary, or player and mob burn can be toggled individually.
- The effects of SunBurn can be toggled on a per world basis. World not in the worldlist will not be burned, v1.5.0+
- A player may exempt from being burned with the player exemption list, v1.5.5+
- A configuration file makes for easy control of the plugin, v1.5.0+
- Per-world configurations allow for a precise time control system, as well as locking the time and weather in a world, v1.6.3+
- A protective armor system will protect the player, v1.6+
- The plugin will auto-update, v1.7.0+
- A whole bunch of permissions, v1.7.0+
- Armor can now be toggled with /burn armor. Some people didn't like it, I guess... v1.7.0+*
- Wasteland generation, v1.7.0+
- AutoWasteGen, v1.7.5+
- Toggle AutoUpdate, v1.7.6+
- Toggle AWG info logging, v1.7.7+
- Custom armour IDs and damage values. 1.8.0+
- 1.8.1 - Bugfixes only. I think there was a problem with armour damage and I'll have to look into that. It was not fixed with this update.

AutoUpdates
- These can now be turned off in the configuration because it is REQUIRED.
- By default, SunBurn will continue to AutoUpdate
- Changing "check_for_updates" in the config will disallow checking for updates
- Changing "auto_update" will disallow downloading the update.
- If "check_for_updates" is disabled, "auto_update" will always be disabled, regardless of actual setting.

Please tell me if the permission glitch is gone. Also, are you guys enjoying sunburn, what do you think of AWG, should there be any improvements, and what features should I implement for the next update? I know most of you hate replying, but if you are afraid your idea may be shot down, send me a PM instead. I read all my PM's!

v1.7.7 fixes the permission problem, and allows toggling of AWG logging with /burn notify chunks
School is very busy for me and I do not often have time to work on this. I hope you guys understand!
v1.7.8 will either come out for the next MC update, or around thanksgiving when I add some stuff on the ToDo list. If you have any ideas for sunburn functionality, let me know ASAP so I can get it done in time!

The video is up. Hope you guys like it. Sorry, it's not the most organized thing I've ever made, but I was in a rush when I filmed it, and only just got around to editing. I hope you guys still like it!
Full description video rendering, and should be up soon. This should answer almost all questions you guys have. The update to fix sunburn.protect, as well as maybe fix a slight AutoWasteGen issue should come out later in the week. Soon I will begin work on frostbite! If anyone has ideas for Frostbite not yet addressed in the main description, please go over there and comment about them!

And maybe, if I really feel like it, I'll allow for custom armor ID's and specification of how long they will last (in ticks), so I don't have to make up complex algorithms for each new armor combination... How do you guys feel about that?

I am aware of this bug, and will have it fixed for the next release. I think I'm just going to remove the burn.protects permission because I can't seem to fix it.
I like the plugin.
It fits nicely with one of the maps that I'm running, great job.
There is one thing that I found though, that I hope you will be able to fix.
If a player is OP, when they log into the server, they are automatically added to the player exclusion list.
The only way to get an OP to burn again is to issue the /burn <playername> again.
There needs to be an option to not automatically add operators to the player exclusion list.\

Since I'm not getting this video out until at least tomorrow, I'll let you all know that /burn chunk no longer exists. All the AWG commands are /waste somethingorother. For example, enabling a world will be /waste world <world>
As far as console feedback, there are broadcast options now. I'm sorry that I can't explain this very well right now. I'll be sure to have a full video of ALL features soon.

For what it's worth, I found I had to issue a reload after creating my world before I could apply any changes that actually saved for it (it did not create the world .yml until then).
I was able to turn on the AutoWasteGen by editing the config.yml directly. I had to shut the server down to do it as it re-saved the currently live config on reload if it was already running. Once I did that, however, it all worked.
I tried to use the AutoWasteGen via the /burn chunk command, but when I do it just provides a message that points to this page for help. Is this feature not fully working yet?
I also found that /burn lock did not seem to work - there is no console feedback after entering it and the time keeps ticking away.
Thanks so much for picking up the development of this plugin. We used the original Sunburn quite a bit when it first came out and were disappointed when it was no longer being maintained.
I'm a terrible person. I promised a video about how auto-burn works, and I never got around to it... I'll try to do it this weekend. Lots of chem homework though!

i posted a ticket about this, but its gone now.
everytime i log out of the game and log back in, i am no longer burned
i have to toggle '/burn world <worldname>' to make it work again

It can definnately be done, but would require a rewrite of how I handle armour damage. Might do it for next version! (It can be done, but I don't want to do it because it will take a bunch of time. I'll get to it eventually)
Also, I didn't even know my plug was compatible with tekkit until earlier today!! So don't blame me for only allowing the default armours. :)

First of all, I would like to say your plugin looks awesome and that it looks as if it will only get better with time. I have but one small suggestion: Your armour section doesn't take into account custom armours from, for example, Tekkit. Would it be possible to implement an item ID option to add armour's to the list?
I know SOME of you must be curious about how AutoWasteGen works, right? Well, instead of documenting it as planned, I'm going to do a video of it. And you'll get to hear me speak, so that you know who is developing that awesome plugin you really like!!

Now, in all truth, who actually is dying to know how to use AutoWasteGen? I know none of you have done so yet, because the stats feature I put in says so!

GUYS. I had to post a new patch/update ( v1.7.6 ), because apparently bukkitDev has had some policy changes. I now absolutely have to allow you (the user) to control auto-updating functionality. This patch adds 2 configuration options. Read more about this in the main description above!
