RoyalCommands
RoyalCommands - v4.0.0

NOTICE
Hi. I'm jkcclemens, the author of this plugin. In light of the recent changes in the Minecraft community and in the administration of this website, I will slowly be phasing out support for BukkitDev. Do not despair! This doesn't mean that RoyalCommands is dead. I have set up another site for RoyalCommands, which you can access here. I think the next couple of updates will be uploaded here, but they will all be switched to that site in time. Thank you for your understanding. I look forward to continuing RoyalCommands for the few devoted users out there. :)
RoyalCommands was originally intended to be a small plugin with few commands, but after realizing that I can make many commands from other plugins better, I expanded to make it a large, all-encompassing, general plugin (160+ commands). It will manage your server extremely well. RoyalCommands is my main project, and I add to it quite often. Check for updates often, as it's not uncommon for several new commands to be added quickly. If you have any suggestions or bug reports, post a comment or check out the contact section.
RoyalCommands fully supports VanishNoPacket, a wonderful choice for admin invisibility. Invisible players are not seen in /list, and commands will tell the sender that the vanished player is not online.
RoyalCommands also supports TagAPI, another beautiful creation from mbaxter, which allows plugins to change the name displayed over a player's head. This is used (optionally) for nicknames.

Commands & Permissions
I do not support the use of PermissionEx! RoyalCommands will work with PEX, but I will not offer support if you use it. If you would like to know why, take a look at this document by mbaxter that explains more.
All commands and permissions are listed here.
Note that the dev build commands will be included on that page, though.
When will you update to X?
From 0.2.7 and forward, the whole plugin has been written so that it is forwards-compatible, meaning that there may be no updates for when new versions of Minecraft/CraftBukkit are released. There is no need for a new version, as the current one will work just fine.
Source and Downloads
The source code on GitHub is available with compiling instructions. It follows the GNU GPLv3 license. Please refer to me if you fork it.
Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk. Continuous Integration.
The changelog is also available.
Converting
If you're interested in converting from another plugin, please check here. Only CommandBook and Essentials are supported at this time. Others are being worked on, but we need more data to make the converters. If you have data for us to work with, please check out the contact section.
Statistics collection
RoyalCommands utilizes Hidendra's PluginMetrics (MCStats) to collect data on plugin usage. All data that is available to me is also available to you here. All data sent is anonymous and not personal. If you do not want to send data to MCStats, please opt-out in the PluginMetrics folder in your plugins folder.

I've sunk hundreds of hours into writing this plugin. Some of these hours come from managing support tickets, some come from helping people, some come from adding features, and most of them come from bettering the plugin altogether. If you would like to thank me for my efforts, I would appreciate it immensely. If you're unable to send five or ten dollars, then let me know how I'm doing. Feedback means a lot!
If you like the plugin and want to thank me, or if you just want to buy me a Red Bull (or help me pay the bills), consider donating.
Still curious about why you should donate? See drtshock's blog post about the topic. Essentially, public plugin developers (like myself) work for free, attempt to accommodate custom requests, and pour our hearts and souls into our projects, and the server owners that use them rake in profit, and the developers see no share. It's sad.

Hey, there. I just have a little problem. Since I use the permission, " -'*' ", I am automatically given all permissions. Unfortunately, this includes "rcmds.exempt.gamemode", so that now neither myself nor through console can I switch my gamemode. Can you either A) Tell me how to fix this issue without going through the soul crushing task of manually giving myself every permission aside from that one, or B) Change the plugin to allow one to apply commands to their selves, regardless of what exempt flags they have. (i.e.; player B using "/gamemode player B 0", or player A using "/kick player A for shits and giggles".
I was just about to replace Essentials.... THEN I realized this plugin doesn't have a /help command. NOOO!!
@jkcclemens You needa add a /help command /: PLEASE!
I have a suggestion! For the /spawn and /home command, there should be a /spawn confirm and a /home confirm command (configurable). So people can't escape pvp.
Also, I heard that there's a problem with /spawn as someone got stuck inside a block. Thanks :)
Btw, my server uses Royal Commands and Royal Message
hi Your plugin is good, I've problems with the notarget permission. If I'm op, Ican't disable it with rcmds.notarget: false And I don't know if it is your plugin, but if an operator logs out, there is no logoutmessage shown to other players.
and the permissions and commands-site is verry unclear. You should add categories it.

Can we disable individual commands and not just by not adding permission for but actually fully disable the command from doing anything or starting with the plugin, Due to this plugin having soo many commands its not going to be uncommon to find servers like mine that find a lot of them usefull but some that will conflict with existing plugin commands and need to be disabled.
either the plugin.yml needs to allow me to delete the command lines I don't need or it needs a true/false in config or something.
First of all, Awesome plugin jkc! I currently use Essentials. There are a significant number of command conflicts between the two. After I upgraded to rcmds 0.1.6 for some reason it doesn't play well with the Essentials 'override' configuration. What i'm referring to there is the portion of the essentials config file that supposedly will direct Essentials to override particular conflicted commands. When using rcmds 0.1.5 it worked just fine.
I've encountered this problem with Essentials 2.7.2 and 2.8.1 (their latest release version). I'm using CB 1830. I was wondering if you would please add a new node of "disabled_commands:" to your config file which will allow an admin to disable certain commands from your plugin. There are a lot of Essentials and CommandBook users out there that would really appreciate it i'm sure. I know that theoretically the problem i'm encountering is possibly due to a shortcoming in the essentials plugin but if you were willing to add this it would solve the problem permanently and would greatly encourage adoption of your plugin even by servers which already use similar plugins if only to get the functionality of one command (i <3 /sci btw).
I've already recommended your plugin to more than one Admin but you know people are about change...
If this request finds you on a favorable note then awesome!!!
Thanks Cecell
Oh god, i'm really suprised about this plugin. Awesome work man! :O :D
Hey, I updated to 0.1.5 and RoyalCommands doesn't work anymore, all it does is print the help information for the command being run and nothing else, here's the server log: http://pastebin.com/LfdFYxeG Thanks.
its saying i dont have any rcmds commands in my /help plz reply i REALLY want this plugin it looks cool
Hey, the "/warp point player" command doesn't seem to work, I can warp myself without the player part, but when I specify a player either myself or another it doesn't work, all it does is print the help information for that command, tried in creative mode and without. Thanks.
A few questions, can I warp someone to a warp point? (not them sending the command), can I teleport someone to another person? like the original tp command, also can I change someone else's gamemode? Thanks.
@jkcclemens
Is PEX one of them? Don't get me wrong, this is an AWESOME plugin.
Maybe a rcmds.* for all commands?
@jkcclemens
Working now, thanks.
@jkcclemens
The answer is a few messages below.
@jkcclemens
I'm not sure what "permissions.*" brings in, but here's the full config:
@jkcclemens
Thanks, but they still won't attack, I check the permission (I meant to say it was off) it's off, I'm not in god mod but I am a OP. Here's the plugin output: [INFO] Plugins: LogBlockQuestioner, Vault, EconXP, PermissionsBukkit, RoyalCommands, LogBlock, LWC, MobArena Thanks.
Just noticed the notarget permission, I set it and checked it was set from within the game, the mobs still wont attack, even when I attack them. (Other than this issue, great mod.)
With this mod monster wont attack me, I'm not in god mode or in creative, but I am a op. EDIT: Just noticed the notarget permission, I set it and checked it was set from within the game, the mobs still wont attack, even when I attack them. (Other then this issue, great mod.)
