Promote!
Promote!
Introduction
What: Promote! is a simple rank-up plugin that allows players to use a single command - `/rankup` - to move up in the promotional ladder defined in the configuration. Simple and lightweight, this plugin does not contain any unnecessary tweaks or features. It is easy to set up and easy to use.
Why: There are quite a handful of promotion or rank-up plugins on the Bukkit Dev, however, most of them are either filled with bugs, are out of date, or littered with features that no one wants. Promote! was designed to be as sturdy as possible; you will likely never need to update it at all. It is simple as a brick; there is simply nothing there to break.
How: In order to provide compatibility with as many permissions and economy plugins as possible, Promote! depends on Vault, a framework that works extremely well with the majority of popular plugins. You can download the latest version of Vault here.

Configuration
Promote! does not have a whole lot in terms of configuration. The default configuration and explanation can be found here.
Commands
Promote! has a staggering total of one command.
/rankup will promote the user to the higher rank in the current promotion ladder. If the player is not in the ladder, is at the top of the ladder, does not have enough money, or does not have his pants pulled all the way up, the promotion will not occur.
/rankup [ladder] will promote the user to a higher rank in the specified ladder.
/rankup reload will load the configuration from file.
Anyone else see the error I posted? Also, how does this plugin interact with permissions plugins like GroupManager?
@bitWolfy
Sorry, but neither in Console or in the server.log do I see an error.
Edit: Anyone else not having luck with /rankup reload?
@nicktehbrick
If you see "An internal error occurred while executing this command" in chat, this means that there is an error log waiting for you in the console. I need that - through pastebin if possible.
When we try /rankup, we see: "[Promote] An internal error occurred while executing this command". However, the command is executed, we get the new rank and see the money deducted. We did previously have 1.0, if that helps.
@ViscousSummer88
Sorry for all the wait. This is just not a very interesting project for me, and therefore I could not be arsed to update it.
New version has been uploaded - tested with the latest builds of Vault and CraftBukkit. Please, report back with any issues.
@Jcheatgamer17
Implemented in version 1.1.

Yay, yay, yay!!!

I'm using pex and have a donate system which adds the rank VIP above the current rank (C). Is there a way that they can still be promoted from C to B with something when you type in /rankup saying, "Which ladder would you like to rankup? Prisoner or VIP?. Then we can type in /rankup prisoner.
@ViscousSummer88
I've spent some time today updating the plugin - I will release it after a bit of testing.
Hang on to your trousers.
Great to know the only plugin, which DID work is not being updated D:
Please update and fix the issues for promoting sometimes dropping you down to the default rank!!! D:
