PlayerParticles
PlayerParticles has moved to Spigot. Please download the plugin from https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/playerparticles.40261/ for now on. Newer versions will no longer be uploaded here.
PlayerParticles is great to use as a VIP perk and is EULA friendly! Your players will love the amount of customization that is available for them!
The plugin wiki can be found here: https://github.com/Esophose/PlayerParticles/wiki
Permission details can be found in the wiki here: https://github.com/Esophose/PlayerParticles/wiki/Permissions
The GUI provides ease-of-access for your users. Simply typing /pp will open the GUI and bring them to a menu where they can edit their particles. If you are using the plugin for a server lobby, you can bind the /pp gui command to an item using a different plugin.
The section below contains a GIF of all styles currently available in the plugin. Please note that all styles are compatible with all particle effects, meaning there are thousands of combinations. I only show one effect per style in the GIFs below. While most of the GIFs only show the particles around a player, the majority of them can also be placed around blocks.

PlayerParticles will check for an update each time your server starts. The plugin .jar will never be downloaded, OPs will get a notification in chat when they log in if an update is available. PlayerParticles will also send metrics about your server anonymously through bStats.
Update checking can be turned off by setting check-updates to false in the config.yml. Metrics can be turned off by setting send-metrics to false in the config.yml.
If a player has their particle settings (In Options > Video Settings) set to minimal they will be unable to see most particles displayed. I am unable to fix this since it is purely client side.
I will only help you with errors you are having if you are running the latest version of the plugin and are running a supported version of Minecraft!

Before anyone asks, yes the latest version of this plugin (v3.0.5) works on Spigot 1.9. It does not, however, have any of the new particles added in the 1.9 update. These will come out soon along with tab completion.
Fantastic plugin! Works on spigot 1.7.10/1.8
@Trexguo
I use Advanced Selector to create a working GUI. For reference visit my hub -ip: envyblock.org
@Trexguo
I will add tab completion at your request. If you want a gui, there are plenty of other plugins for you to set that up. I will try to have the update out as soon as possible.
Hi, I find the plugin very easy to use. but could you add a simple GUI system so users can choose the particles and styles they have access to. or just add tab completion. That would be cool. Thanks
@SuperRonanCraft
When 1.9 comes out I will be updating the plugin to include hundreds of new particles using the block and item break particles. I will also be adding new styles as people request them. Thank you for downloading the plugin!
@Esophose
Sweet! That's awesome, any other future plans for the plugin? Like new styles, or particles? That would be nice too, keep up the great work!
@SuperRonanCraft
Got the problem fixed. Thank you for reporting it.
I just uploaded v3.0.5, waiting for Bukkit Staff to approve.
@SuperRonanCraft
Yeah that is a bug but it is part of the effect API I'm using. I'm not sure if I can fix it but I will look into the problem. I can't believe out of the 10,000 people who downloaded the plugin that you were the first to complain about it lol
There's a bug where players can see other players particles in different worlds, so particles go through all worlds in a server. So someone that is in 0,64,0 can see the particles of someone else in creative at 0,64,0 or any coordinates. Is this on purpose or a huge bug? If so please fix this! It's really weird and very tempting to eliminate the plugin.
Can there be a command to be able to give other players particles without them having permissions to it. like an override to make other players have a particle. Very awesome plugin non the less

Digging the plugin but have a request. Could you make the permissions so we can set certain particles to certain people instead of just giving them access to all at once? There are a few I don't want my members to have access to for lag reasons.
@JackSpar0w
Currently there is 'Halo' which just spawns them around the head. If you mean like the effect on the Hypixel server, then yes, I can do that as well.
Great Plugin! Can you also add the circle type where it circles around the head :)?
@pepper82
Coming soon.
Can you add console commands? E.g. I want to show particles on a specific player and remove it again later.
Woo! We surpassed 10,000 downloads! Thank you all for the support in downloading the plugin!
@MerlinK11
I'll create a new style called 'move' which will spawn particles when the player moves around.
Hi I have to say it annoys me extremely that the particle constantly come I'd better find only if you move the come to the particle liese settle this?
@JohOply
Thank you for that info! I was able to fix the issue when I realized /pp version didn't even work.
v3.0.3 works now and should be approved by Bukkit Staff soon, and v3.0.2 has been deleted entirely.
