PersonalWorlds
PersonalWorlds
This plugin lets your players make worlds. They can choose the world type and can have their friends join them for some co-op fun!
This plugin supports custom world generators like http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/voidgenerator/
Each world is currently at 400x400 blocks, but this can be changed in the config. By default each world is about 10 mb in size.
Generators I know work!
TODO
- Clean up/slim down code
- Get bugs to fix
- Find things people want me to add
Commands
Currently there are different 5 arguments and one command. The main command is "pw" and its arguments are help, tp, add [or] create, generator, delete. All of the arguments are explained with "/pw help".
How to help
- If you find a bug than report it.
- After this project is done you may donate and buy me hot-wings \o/ .
Permissions
Here is a list of all permissions:
- PersonalWorlds.add
- PersonalWorlds.delete
- PersonalWorlds.generator
- PersonalWorlds.help
- PersonalWorlds.tp
Any generators you want players want to have you must give them a permissions in this format
- PersonalWorlds.generators. + the generator name.
Mini-Permissions
- Within the PersonalWorlds plugin you can give an owner and guests of a world permissions that you set in the config. The permissions are granted on entering and removed on leaving a world.

Hi Players on my servers that have donate i haved give right permissions but for them this text come "you dont have permissions for this command" how to fix this?
@viktorhubinette
I think you might want to look into buycraft, I have never used it but I think that is what you want
hi can i use this plugin so if one person donate he gonna get a personal world automatic?
I'm working on some good stuff. like a /pw home command and all the the things discussed before. Look down for upcoming features.
@Dathmineboy
1. Not currently, but I can make a try and add such a feature.
2. I might make a config option of this. Good idea. It would work like Essentials Multi-home if I did add such a thing.
3. As said before, yes anyone can come in your world. The reason it was done like this is to avoid all file/database work that would be needed for having a "group" of people that can enter your world.
4. All worlds are stored and only loaded when needed. AKA, when the player who owns if uses the /pw tp command to get to it. Its unloaded when s/he logs out.
5. Hmmm. good idea to look into.
6. The max I can get to is like 12 boneless. (I also like spicy hot wings, so if you are a creepy guy who wants to track me down and give me such wings. Boneless, spice, and 10 of them )
@merlinshaw
The reason I added the built in permissions is to get around such a thing. You can ask @ElgarL for more information. He is the current maintainer of GroupManager. Last I heard he was thinking about wildcard mirroring
@Medic0987
1. You don't need to add someone to your world. As long as the player is on anyone can do /pw tp (player name). I am going to make a /pw kick command soon to kick someone out of the world.
2. you just do /pw tp
Does the build in permissions support essentials chat for prefixes and suffixes?
Is it possible to set a limit of how many worlds each player can have? I want to use this for donator ranks, vip can have 1 world, and vip can have 2 worlds for instance. Is this supported using permissions?
Can everyone join your world or do they require permissions? Friendship? How to add friends?
When a player does not have the perm to own a world (vip has perms and he is being demoted to a rank without the perms to own their very own world) can the world be automaticly be disabled ( also stored so that they can re-enable it )?
Can you set different game_modes? ( including seperated creative and survival inventory )
How many hotwings can you eat?
Hope to see them answered soon, btw, you were too late answering the last question .
Do you happen to know how to mirror your groups with theses worlds? in group manager? This could be an extreamly popular plugin with a little more love. i do agree we do need to be able to do more with it. have its own built in spawn perm because mutlivers does not read its file wont to import the world because the way its filed. need to be able to toggle how many world per player.
So I have a few questions:
1.) What is the command used to add friends to world? And is there a perm for allowing to add people? Also do the people who can be added need a perm? That would be good.
2.) How does a player return to their world? Is there a /pw home?
@merlinshaw
There are many other plugins that manages world spawns. Multi World plugins and Command Book have set spawn commands for worlds
@merlinshaw
Is there a command to setup the location for the worlds spawn?
@gravypod
I understand ill give it a shot then.
@merlinshaw
Yup should be, I only update when its needed. Im going to wait a bit for a new feature. Sorry for the late reply, holidays.
IS this Still running fine im interested in it.
I fixed the error in the latest update. waiting for the bukkitdev staff to syndicate it.
@skullonroses
What error?
/pw gives u an error....
@GaseousMaximus
I would suggest the use of a plugin like Multiverse Core+Portals. Player could make a portal linking back to the main world's spawn or main portal.
@GaseousMaximus
Just use another plugins /home or /spawn command
