What is OKB3?
Bulletin Board Bridge, or OKB3 as I've dubbed it, is a forum bridging plugin that currently allows you to whitelist/blacklist your server, set Permissions 3.x.x, PermissionsEx, GroupManager, bPermissions, permissionsBukkit groups based on forum ranks, promote/demote players on both the server and your forums, mirror forum and server nicknames, mirror forum and server bans, reward forum posts with BoseConomy, iConomy or EssentialsEcon currency, and more!

Plugin usage
Before I download and try this, I've been looking for a plugin compatible with smf to automatically promote players in-game to 'Member' once they sign up on my forum. This may seem like a silly question, but this plugin can do that right?
Is it possible to make it give up to so much money in a 24 hour (or otherwise specified) period? For example: James posts 13 posts in a 24 hour period, however, the rewarded money is capped off at 10 posts, so he would only get money for 10 of the 13 posts.

I moved to a new host, and now I'm getting this error:
@greatman321
Also, /fpromote and /fdemote not working... it ADDS the group to the user instead of changing it... please fix :\
@greatman321
Works with craftbukkit-1.2.2-R0.1-20120302.040451-17.jar
I have a hackish version of OKB3 built for R5. It works with Vault now so you need that plugin for OKB to work.

I've started a new project that will have many of features OKB3 has. It is not a clone or continuation of OKB3 though. The links to this project are in the post above this one.

I spoke with Kalmanolah and you released the latest source to me. I'm not a developer, so just passing this along incase someone wants to take this over...

His email reads -
"Sending you guys the latest source code. Enjoy."
Well that's a huge bummer that he took down his source :(
Maybe someone snagged it first??? Doubtful tho :(
Well, I would, but the source code is gone and the jar links 404. I would totally work on this if I had the source...source for the false hope guys.
For everyone hoping for someone to fork this....I may do so if I manage to find some extra time between school and other plugins.
Really hope someone forks this, a lot of people are using this and depending on it..
I highly need a syncing solution that will be supported as this plugin dev told me he is not working on this project anymore:
"I don't do that bukkit stuff anymore..And fortunately, I also don't give a damn" @Kalman Olah
Nice knowing that after I donated $50 to keep this plugin going like a month ago...
So is anyone willing to port a version over and continue work on this plugin as I am still having issues with my version of bukkit ever since he started using sqllite (no welcome messages, spotty sycing, random sql freezes and this all disappears when the plugin is unloaded).
Appreciated it and contact me if you are willing to donate some bucks to encourage a working system.
Is this plugin able to manipulate the user specific nodes such as prefix's and suffix's if not would you add this feature
Thanks
Siriuo
Desn't work with craftbukkit-1.1-R3 :/
is there a setup wiki?
I see options noting vanilla support. Does this work with Vanilla 2? I've tried setting it up every way I can, but it can't seem to find the RoleID, even with multitable specified to the correct UserRole table. Just looking to find out if it is an error on me, or if OKB3 isn't setup for Vanilla 2.
Edit: This is odd, but in case anyone would like to know, using default database settings for Vanilla 2, I had to swap the User table and UserRole table in 'normal' mode. user-table is definitely GDN_User, and roles are defined in a second table, which is definitely GDN_UserRole. Setting the config-inc-php to prefix GDN_ did not affect the queries in any way. In the logs, when setup the correct way, OKB3 would report 'Error in SQL query: Table 'Vanilla.User' doesn't exist' with some related MySQL exceptions, on logon, and any time /sync is done. After swapping the table names, that resolved any SQL errors. Now I just need to troubleshoot /frank and the like.
Here is the working config for Vanilla 2. Everything else is pretty cut and dry.
