What is MassiveCore?
MassiveCore is a Bukkit plugin that contains components the MassiveCraft developers use for developing other Bukkit plugins:
- ItemStack and Inventory serialization
- Commands
- Plugin Integration
- Data storage with JSON
- Disc IO
- … and much more …
Install
- Stop your server.
- Put MassiveCore.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start your server again.
Plugins Using MassiveCore
Internet Connections
MassiveCore sends anonymous usage statistics to bstats.org when your server starts and downloads the latest sponsor configuration file from massivecraft.com hourly. You can disable these internet connections by setting "metricsEnabled" and "sponsorEnabled" to false at the very bottom of the main configuration file.

@Cayorion
Right, then you should use soft-depend. ProtocolLib won't complain then.
Let me know if you want a user on that Jenkins server. :)
@austin101
You need Java 7 to run this plugin.
Using 6.4.3 on Jenkins (Also tried 6.4.2 and got the same error)
Running craft Bukkit Build #2805 1.6.1-R0.1
My error log: http:pastebin.com/1pnq8c3Z
MCore 6.4.3 is now pending approval.
@aadnk
Did protocol lib warn unless you have a depend directive in the plugin.yaml? I don't think it should. This feature in mcore is optional and only activates if protocol lib is present.
@aadnk
Oh I don't mind at all. Sounds great that you have set up a build task on your jenkins. Thanks for the help once again. I will upload to Bukkit Dev soon.
@BioBG
Try this version.
Big disclaimer: This is an unofficial build that has NOT been verified by the BukkitDev. Use at your own risk!
When you update your plugin, update it for CraftBukkit and Spigot.

Spigot DEV Build #964 (1.5.2)
how to fix this ? tnx
@DoYouEvenDip
@DiscoGC
@TakoMT
The most recent version on GitHub should have fixed that problem.
For the sake of convenience, I just set up my build server to make MCore developer builds directly from GitHub. The compiled JAR-file can be downloaded here.
And of course, these builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
@Cayorion
I hope you don't mind, Cayorion. I did convert it to a Maven project in order to convert it, along with renaming CmdMcore.java to CmdMCore.java. But it's unchanged otherwise.
I can also give you access to the Jenkins server, if you want. Though you might want to switch to Maven or Ant - the current compilation method is a bit hacky and requires SSH to access pom.xml.
Server console gets flooded with this error upon startup: http://pastebin.com/bhzatz8e
Am running the 1.6 version.
@TakoMT
I'm also getting these errors even after updating to the latest version.
Thanks for the link... finally managed to download and test some things out...
But as 654165.. mentioned, there seems to be an issue between mcore and protocollib.
First I get "[ProtocolLib] [PacketFilterManager] mcore doesn't depend on ProtocolLib. Check that its plugin.yml has a 'depend' directive." then after that I see 'Activated integration with ProtocolLib'. This happens on both the 2.4.5 as well as the new 2.4.6 update.
As soon as a player connects I am then flooded with errors...

If I remove either protocollib or mcore, everything works fine.
To get the version 1.6.1 mcore just go to http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/mcore/files/18-mcore-6-4-2/ it works even though it needs approval and you can still download it.
@ruablack2
Are you sure your launch .bat directs to the java 7 folder? and not java 6.
I have Java 7 and craftbukkit build #2788 (1.5.2) and I keep getting this error.
so apparently mcore "doesn't depend on protocollib" and needs to have a depend or soft-depend added to the plugin.yml ??
This is a warning I get on startup.
@BioBG
4.6.1 is for 1.5.2. The Mcore for 1.6.1 is now pending approval.

Update: Nvm, I have got my coder to fix it temporarily!
Hi there. I have an issue. Whenever I type this: '{color}[{nick}] {factions_roleprefix}{factions_name|uc|ucf|rp}{sender}{suffix}{color}: for my default speech and have no Faction, It would show up as this: '{color}[{nick}] {factions_roleprefix}{factions_name|uc|ucf|rp}{sender}{suffix}{color}: Owner KR1dude: Hi! How come it does this?
