update please!
nice plugin idea :)
Please make an update for 1.5.0 :)
I recently divorced a player, but I am still getting "Your partner is online" or "Your partner is now online" when I login, and I am the only one on the server too... Doesn't seem to give me either of these messages when other players login though. :\
@KingLucifer
@DelphiCraft
Players MUST be within a certain distance of each other. If they are in different worlds, this is obviously not close enough for the plugin to work as intended... The errors you get are only telling you this.... This plugin is not designed to read players anymore than a certain distance apart, this is why you guys are getting these errors and it is not working... Try getting your player closer together and attempting to marry them again... I bet you it will work.
Hi - getting a severe error..
hello just wanted to say like the plugin but i found a few bugs 1 bug i found is to do with muti worlds this plugin cant handle it when ppl are in Difernt worlds this is the Error meggages i get
6:39:14 PM CONSOLE: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Cannot measure distance between SkyAether and skyeden 6:39:18 PM CONSOLE: [SEVERE] Could not pass event EntityRegainHealthEvent to MarriagePlus v1.2.3
And i get this error when some 1 trys to use /marry love
6:41:14 PM CONSOLE: [SEVERE] null 6:41:14 PM CONSOLE: exception executing command 'marry' in plugin MarriagePlus v1.2.3 6:41:14 PM CONSOLE: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraft/server/v1_4_6/Entity 6:41:14 PM CONSOLE: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraft.server.v1_4_6.Entity
iam useing Bukkit Minecraft Version 1.4.7
Also players cant use the Pvp On/off Eather just dosent work no error messages
i hope this helps xD
im getting the message "your partner is now online" when more than my spouse comes online. Its either people ive tested the plugin on and since divorced or its doing it when priests come on.
I checked player.yml and it correctly identifying me as married to the correct player and the others involved do not list me. Other players are using it without problem.
The love toy doesnt seem to work still.
Thanks
Morlanius (And his apparent harem lol)
I love this Plugin! And i have a proposition for you: Can you somehow get the name of the player with whom one is married stands before his name please? example:<[Name From The Partner][Rank(Admin,Player,Owner...)]Name from me> Have you understand me? I'm from Germany so sorry for my bad english ._.
Might I suggest giving the "priest" a message when the marriage fails? Say for lack of funds for both parties?
I just tried to marry a couple a few times and they failed to tell me they didnt' have the money to do it. So being confused and flustered I assumed there was something wrong with the plugin itself...
Also, I am NOT sure, but I think even a failed attempt may be taking money from any players involved who have it, but not providing the married status because the other does not....
I'd like to know why this is for CB 1.4.7-R0.1 and not the latest CB 1.4.7-R1.0?
@sakura_blades
Enough. I've just tried to support and help the developers of the plugin although I'm not using it anymore. And then you started discussing about my diction.
@ blackixx
I understand what you're saying.... I understand you're getting errors... I don't call it a bug because it's not intended to do what you're wanting it to. An annoyance maybe, and a flood of your console/log but not much else.
*shrugs*
@sakura_blades
I call this a bug:
@Blackixx
Wouldn't call the lack of proximity a bug... but okay...
@sakura_blades
Well I just sent the comment to help the devs to fix this bugs. My priests understand the bugs but the bugs are still there and annoying.
@blockixx
So like I said before... Explain how it works so this stops... it's not like it's complicated....
If your Priest fails to understand how it works, maybe it's time for a new one?
Also when you say "he wants to marry someone" I get the impression he's just pairing random people up, and that's not cool....
@sakura_blades
Well my priest want to marry people and just don't know why the error appears. Then they try it again and again. Without success. Also the console and server.log gets spammed.
@ Blackixx
Forgive me if I feel like a simple "This must be done for it work" is more than enough of a notification, rather than having to apply more code into a plugin that has no problems with that feature otherwise. If you've got people trying to do the /marry <player> <player> command while they aren't together then maybe you should make them aware that's how it needs to be done. I mean, even realistically wouldn't you want to be looking at your partner when you're married rather than through a phone/computer/email/whatever? It makes perfect sense to me why first of all this stipulation is in place, and again why there isn't a "checker" to see if the players are within radius of each-other and "priest"
I have never used this plugin until the other night, so I do not know when the love command was working last. I know it spits out errors for me when I try to use it too but it is certainly not plugin breaking. File a ticket like I have about these issues, that's what they've asked to do and what they are there for... But I myself wouldn't be putting in a "checker" code to this plugin if it were me... It doesn't need one.
@sakura_blades
Well:
@ typhoonwes
I just recently installed this plugin onto my server and it works. (mostly) The marriage function is fine, are you sure you've put in the proper permission-nodes in your permissions plugin?
I have found that the bonuses for being married aren't working. The sharing of money, sharing food, bonus xp for being close while killing mobs, and the Hearts Animation arent' working for me at all... :\
We do however have the ability to teleport directly to our partner, set a home with our partner and teleport to it (both of us), and we get notifications when our partners login/logoff.
@ Blackixx
I believe it stats up there somewhere that the players need to be within a certain distance of the "Priest" issuing the marriage. Which would mean both players had to be online for it to work.....
Also, what do you mean by "at different works"? Is that supposed to say "worlds" Cause that again is a 'certain distance' thing they mentioned earlier....
Btw the location distance check isn't workin if the players are at different works. This also causes a NullPointerException.
