Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

@orangemenace
Well, I'm not too familiar with Tekkit, but I set up a Tekkit server to test it. I immediately ran into problems with Vault. It appears that Tekkit isn't using the latest Bukkit API methods, and as a result the latest version of Vault is incompatible with Tekkit. I'll need to know more information in order to get a better idea of what's going on. What version of Vault are you using, what version of Tekkit, which economy plugin, and could you post the full stack trace of your error?
I'm guessing that it's some issue with Vault/the economy plugin, because I couldn't get it to work with the latest version of Vault.
In theory, HyperConomy should work with custom items, as long as you add them to the items.yml file with the correct material, ID, damage value, etc.
@Icabaad
I like that idea. I'll see if I can add "closed economy" as an optional feature.
i am trying to set up a server for tekkit which is running mc 1.1 we will be only using it for vanilla trading but when i go to buy something such as dirt i get an error saying "you only have room to buy 0 dirt" and the dirt doesn't buy and when selling something "an internal error occurred while attempting to preform this command" but the dirt still sells. these are the only errors i have found so far if you can help please do.
Looks like a very professional plugin. Covered a few gaps I've seen in other plugins. Well done.
Is there any chance of having the shop work off its own bank account instead of Infinite Money? Also having the tax set to enter this account? I would love, as I imagine others might too maintain a closed economy.
@RegalOwl
Thank you. :)
@hwei
Click here to download version .903 (For Java 6 Compatibility.)
@hwei
I don't have much time to test it at the moment, but try version .902 once it is approved. It should make it compatible with Java 6. Just let me know if you have any more issues.
EDIT: Disregard version .902. Use version .903 once it is approved. I tested it against Java 6 Update 31 and it's working.
I have to install java 7 ?
@RegalOwl
Hey, thanks for the reply. Yes I simply installed the iConomy plugin and 'poof' as if by magic it worked.
Thanks again and I am sure I will have many suggestions and will offer feedback in due time. :)
@pokeybit
I forgot to mention that you need an economy plugin along with Vault for this to work properly. I believe you're getting that error because you don't have an economy plugin installed. Just install an economy plugin along with Vault and you should be good to go. (If you have your shop set up.) Any economy plugin should work. iConomy, BOSEconomy, essentials economy, etc. Just drop it in the plugin folder. I use Essentials economy on my server. I have links in the new Quick Install Guide
I'm going to work on updating the main page tonight, since I have some time. And I'll add a check in HyperConomy to make sure that an economy plugin is running so that it gives a more specific message.
@retricide
Thanks. I'll let you know if I need any help. :)
Hey nice work, I have been looking around for a dynamic price shop and have tried a few and found that they are either too complex or a pain in the disk-drive to set up. Yours seemed simple enough yet offers the functionality of a worthwhile install.
I am having some problems getting it working however. I am getting errors when using /buy /sell commands.
When selling an item the item will be taken from the inventory but error #3 appears, and in the console:
And when buying an item:
Plugins used: HyperConomy MapMarkers/PlayerMarkers MobHealth Spectate Boatdrop Vault [only for Hyperconomy]
Using CraftBukkit version git-Bukkit-1.2.4-R1.0-3-gf937f4e-b2127jnks (MC: 1.2.4) (Implementing API version 1.2.4-R1.1-SNAPSHOT)
I am new to server management so apologies if I have made a simple mistake somewhere. Thanks :D
Wow, this looks good. Can't wait to test it. If by any chance you need help documenting it, I'd love to help.
