Health Bar
Unmaintained
This plugin is no longer being developed.
It is advised to switch to any other similar plugin that is being actively developed.
Features
- Customize the text over a mob head (name, health and max health)!
- Customize the health bar for players, prefix + suffix, on the name tag, and for players (see the customization page)
- Option to always show health bars
- Health bars disappear after a configurable time
- No Spout or client mods required
- Easy drag and drop install
- World selection for mobs and players
- Will notify the console when an update is released on bukkit dev (on reload) and players with permission
- Shows amount of health below the player's tag (With configurable name, no health bars there. Why?)
- Shows on custom named mobs and restores the name after the bar has disappeared.

Compatibility
This plugin is compatible with:
- Damage Indicator Holograms
- Colored Tags
- EpicBoss Gold Edition (set hooks -> epicboss: true)
- ScoreboardStats
- MobArena (set override-other-scoreboard: true)
- McMMO (use the latest version, it will be fine)
- Citizens (you can't turn off the health for citizens, under the name, because it's displayed on all the human entities)
- Permission Health
- Sentry for Citizens (v1.3.7+)
- Heroes (use latest version)
Not compatible with:
- NametagEdit - may crash players, alternative plugin: Colored Tags
- Other plugin that uses the scoreboard (but if the use the main scoreboard, you can try to turn off permission and world disabling to make them compatible)
- TagAPI (It could make players show 0 HP and hide team names; works with mob health bars)

@filoghost When slain by a mob it says "name was slain by ' and then the squares
@filoghost
Lol I guess we both just had the same idea's Dont worry i dont copy.
Can you make it so it says over their head "Health 20" for example
Future additions:
Player health bars, Optimize the plugin, Config file.
Put this fast, i very need.
This plugin is fantastic!
@filoghost
well I do haha but now running server without it but i get a long error log with it. didn't pay much attention though i kinda figured it may be something like that... cause extreme hard mode changes a lot haha.
@Blade1013
Maybe too many game mechanism changes? Do you have any error log?
@manpower13
I will do it, this is very easy :)
Hey just wanted to say I am running the Extreme Hard Mode plug-in and this doesn't seem to load up with it. I am using the recent dev build of craftbukkit? so solutions?
@SjorsMaster
No, there's only a health bar above the mob
Question: Do you see the name of the mob or player?
pleaaase add a config, i want this only on players
Okay, this plugin does work with ZArena, so i think it does work with mobarena too. Maybe a option in config to disable and enable this pligin in certain worlds? Like in world : world this plugin shows the health of the mobs. But in world: mini-games the plugin is not allowed to show the health of the mobs.
Sorry for my bad english, haha
@Zoagel
Sorry but you can't for now, I can only set 1 line!
Great plugin! Could you add support for mob names (including custom names)? Like, line 1: Creeper line 2: Health If you would add that, this plugin would be p-e-r-f-e-c-t!
@Novrum
I'm working on a fix, that's should be easy. Also I will create different Listener classes, that will load depending on configs.
I replied you instead of jamslambs. I mean the problem about the name of the mob, that is displayed wrong if you were killed by one when they have displayed the health bar.
@Novrum
What problem?
@filoghost
I have the same problem. I'm using this plugin with another one that displays the damage in text in the chat and it look's so nice!
@finalblade1234
Your plugin is great for servers with modified mobs that have different names.
@finalblade1234
Yes, but don't copy please! :)
@filoghost
Uh oh! looks like ive got compitition! (for my plugin: health-heads)
