FC_Bounties
FC_Bounties is a plugin that brings together traditional player created bounties with generated bounty events. Player bounties are bounties placed on other players by players while server bounties are randomly generated bounties placed on random players! FC_Bounties has an emphasis on customization, which is why there are currently 45+ configuration settings for bounty settings. WOW! Hey Destro168, some of my members are have problems when adding a bounty and not using the right caps.
Example Mex and mex are not the same bountys but are the same person, are you able to fix this?

Can you make it so that you can make players use a percentage of the bounty put on them rather then a percentage of there total wealth.
I'm going to just run with your idea before I actually make a decision to implement it or not.
Lets say that player x puts a bounty on player for $10.
Ok so now 2 options, to pay it off and the server gets paid, or pay it off and the player gets paid. Now I'll evaluate what I'd expect from each outcome.
A.) Player gets paid. Ok, well, if player x gets paid the money back, but with 50% more, then why would he not just put a new bounty on player y again for the same amount forcing player y to keep paying to get the bounty taken off and lose money? It's pointless to implement this because the bounty will stick eventually.
B.) Server gets paid. While this seems like the best option, I feel it kind of goes against the spirit of the plugin. It's kind of like a "get out of jail" free card when bounties are placed on you. Also this can create scenarios where extremely rich people will place several bounties on single targets in the hope that they will attempt to buy off each bounty and become poor. I don't know, I just feel like it's against the spirit of bounties.
I'll consider adding it into an update, but I'm making no guarantees on the addition of this feature.
Can you add a buyout feature?
example:
Player x puts a bounty on Player y for $10...
Player y can have the option to pay 150% of the bounty (paid to server or maybe player x) to lose the bounty
So, player y pays $15 to lose bounty placed on them?
Yeah, this is an interesting issue predawnia. This JUST broke with my update and I have no idea why. A few of the vault functions just flat out aren't working. The execution is going through.
I'll be working diligently on this, I would say don't use my plugin for the time being until I get the next update out (very soon guaranteed). Sorry.
edit: Actually there was an else (literally one word) key word that got removed, I have readded it and fixed the issue. Sorry about that. Also built on the new version of Vault as well. I'm submitting for approval now, sorry about that.
edit 2: Officially updated to 3.02. Also has another small bug fix in it. Sorry once again! Since I don't run a server I can't always find these errors but I definitely try to make it 100% my goal to fix these errors as fast as possible. I hope that compensates a bit for the fact that errors might exist :P. If anybody has abused infinite money feel free to check the logs (money logging is recorded) and take appropriate action.
People can put and get bounty beyond the amount of money that they have with them. People also could put enormous bounty like 1 billion and get the 1 billion when they kill their target.
That's interesting, I'm curious what is the absolute (or full) path for that new folder?
Just a heads up, on my linux box when it generates the "userinfo" folder it doesn't go into the FC_Bounties directoy, it makes a new one called FC_Bounties\userinfo

3.0 has been released now. Woot woot.
edit: I removed 3.0. For some really unexplainable reason, money doesn't seem to be working my test server. I was writing a message to somebody (which I deleted) but I had inspiration for a really useful new feature and while testing it I'm experiencing a few other bugs that did not exist until this build so I'm looking into them. More news later.
edit 2: Actually found a pretty big but where bounties weren't refunding while testing. Really glad I tested, as this probably wouldn't have been found. Was an old bankdeposit use which I don't know how it slipped in or slipped by me. I did a search all on all my plugins to remove any bankdeposit, bankwithdraws and they are all gone officially now. 3.0 back up.
edit 3: Also updated the config settings page with the 3 new options and related warnings for them.
I'm working diligently on the update for all my plugins. Going to be putting a lot of good changes in the next version, already have a bunch of good ones in. FC_Bounties is my primary focus as it seems to have a lot of popularity and there is good potential for it so I'm putting my heart and soul into it. Then I'm going to work on FC_Bans and get a nice solid update out. After all that is said and done, I'll do small update for FC_Announcer, and then lastly I'll be doing FC_Rpg which has a lot to do.
Next version will be 3.0.
edit: I've finished 3.0, but I just want to add in a few more little checks to make sure that everything looks sexy. The code is all there but I really want to revise the way that things look and just make sure that the plugin feels good. It's really important that a plugin look and feel nice and clean. Expect a release tomorrow anyway. ^^

Disregard, I wasn't able to attack other players because I didn't turn the "friendly fire" setting in the towny config off. Feel like an idiot now :D
Only thing I can suggest from here is to make the config file in a separate folder, or the player files. Having a lot of players on a server it would be annoying having to search for the config file. Great plugin though =)
Added in the popularly requested "bounty tax %" option. You can now add in a customizable tax percent for creating bounties! Yay!

I've fixed the issue andrewkm. Sorry for anybody that has had issues with using Essentials ECO in the past. I personally use iConomy and so the bankWithdraw and bankDeposit feature works perfectly from Vault. I didn't know that I'd have to use playerDeposit for other plugins, but now I do. Anyway the bug fix was pretty fast.
This version also has like 2-3 very significant changes as well. Check the changelog out. Lots of bug fixes as well, the usual.

We have vault installed. No money seems to be taken/rewarded for bounties. Any ideas? (Running latest version of your plugin)
