FC_Bounties
FC_Bounties is a plugin that brings together traditional player created bounties with generated bounty events. Player bounties are bounties placed on other players by players while server bounties are randomly generated bounties placed on random players! FC_Bounties has an emphasis on customization, which is why there are currently 45+ configuration settings for bounty settings. WOW! Customize bounty creation taxes, cash steal, money loss, exact cash values for server bounties and TONS more to have bounties work exactly as you want. As well, all of this power is highly optimized with all information about bounties and player settings being stored directly to configuration files to prevent any data loss ever, unless of course your files are deleted. I love this plugin, sadly everytime my server reboots/reloads it causes the config to reset. Never had this with any other plugin :[ Any ideas?
Vault says it supports PermissionsBukkit so it should work with PermissionsBukkit. If it doesn't tell me and I will personally test and make sure it works.
Do the permissions nodes work with permissionsBukkit?
I am starting to update bounties, I'm going to spend this whole day working on everything that I can, and trying to fix any bug testing issues.
The reason that this plugin is so hard to test is just that, I have to test everything solo. But I'm getting better at coding, I think I have some new solutions to tackle bugs and errors and prevent getting any. I need to add some feedback so that players and server owners can see what is happening.

When I get back from my break I am going to do a major rewrite probably.
I am beginning/working on so many plugins that I actually need to start making some really standard practices and start doing a lot of standardized things. There are a lot of bugs with FC_Bounties and FC_Announcer right now, sadly. Every time I think I fixed everything more pop up a day later. I've learned a lot of new stuff, working on FC_Rpg (it's unknown relatively right now).
The plugin won't run without Vault. I will consider item-based bounties, np.

Does this only work when you run vault? Because I dont use vault and dont plan on to, but this looks like a great plugin,
That's a very good suggestion, in fact, I think I'll just enable that by default. I don't know why I never thought of this... *whoops*.
Anyway, expect that in the next update.
This plugin works out very nicely! The only problem I have is broadcasts. I can't find anything anywhere in the config about broadcasting. Here's an example.
I use /bounty create <player name> <reward> it tells me that the bounty has been created. It does not broadcast to the rest of the server.
So if a player creates a bounty, nobody will know unless they use the command to check for bounties. How can I get it to do something like this
<Player> has placed a bounty on <player>'s head for <amount>! Find him and kill him!
There's nothing in the config for this and it doesn't broadcast to anybody.
I have enabled the ticketing server for this plugin.
Please use this in the future for issues. I will post a template soon for how to report issues, it will be in the description.

This is VERY good insight, I will look into this immediately. I have noticed that there is some weird behavior involved when a player dies to non-player elements. I, for example, have died in lava and people have gotten the bounty on me. I will look into this immediately, thank you.

Could you maybe add a permission to start a bounty? Because I only want that certain groups of my server can start one.
World Guard is only needed if you want to bypass the pvp flag on protected regions. The plugin works fine without WG.
Basically it makes it so that if you have a server bounty on you, you can't hide in a protected area to prevent being killed and wait the bounty out.
For what parts of this mod is World Guard required? Can we use this mod without it? If so, what will be missing?

Alek123222, do you use Group Manager and is it working flawlessly for you? I'm just curious because there is another guy in the FC_Announcer thread that is curious if Vault's Group Manager support works and I honestly don't know. Would be very helpful!

I too was wondering :) because when I saw vault I thought it should be compatible with all permission plugins I thought you would know that too, well anyway thank you! Great plugin.
Ok I just finished FC_Announcer, I didn't realize I could use Vault as a permissions API (glad I have 2 popular plugins to learn these things) :D. Anyway, yeah, I wish somebody would have said "Why do you require Pex AND Vault, you're dumb for that" and I would have been like "OH, OHHHHHHHHHHHH" and then fixed it. Yeah well, now I know, haha.
Put an update for FC_Bounties up. You no longer need Pex, no big features added or even bug fixes really. Just the Vault support. :)
