I know it sucks to have to pay to use something you used to have, but I simply couldn't continue pouring the time into this project to keep it updated without getting a little something back. EpicGlass adds a new function to both glass blocks (or any other block type in the config!); the ability to be broken! With EpicGlass, you can charge up your bow and send an arrow smashing through windows or take someone by surprise by crashing through their skylight. But don't worry, all that broken glass will slowly regenerate, so you can shatter it over and over again.
This plugin collects basic usage information for mcstats.org. You may opt out in the generated pluginMetrics config file.
Features
- Players and Mobs can fall through glass
- Players can sprint and jump through glass
- Arrows can be shot through glass
- All glass blocks that were touching will be broken
- Glass broken by EpicGlass regenerates over time
- Config for disabling any unwanted features and adding a block cap to the number that can be broken at once
- All of these things for any other block type

Usage
In order to use EpicGlass, simply sprint and jump, fall onto, or shoot an arrow at a glass block.

Before you post a long unorganized comment with a bunch of individual suggestions, take some time to look at the tickets page. Enhancements posted on the comments page will NOT be considered. Normaly I dont comment on peoples plugins, but the first time I shot an arrow through glass, I could of heard real glass breaking in my head. You have removed an limitation in minecraft within my head. Glass isnt a indestructable wall anymore. Gotta love your plugin. :)

Maybe in the future. There's a lot bigger priorities. The biggest thing is area protection. I think it would be better if you could simply define a region with world guard, towny, etc, that would stop glass from being broken by players who can't build there. Making all of the block breaks client-side isn't very practical or sensible, imo
EDIT: Another thing i just thought of, is if I were to make the block breaks client side, whoever broke them would still be able to pass through. As far as their client is concerned, theres nothing there. Thats kind of the opposite effect i think you were looking for, lol
Would not cause "cheating" issues with PVP setups if you could maintain the block, but make it -look- broken and gone. So that people may not pass through.

can't you just add the file onto a redirect site that does show you a redirect count etc? heck chuck it on adfly > etc > etc > etc> yay file... beats waiting for bukkit staff to get around to it

I prefer not to do that because it doesn't count any downloads. BukkitDev keeps track of everything.
And thanks for the bug report. Im pulling the last version down real quick and adding that in.

Okay, Illegal Access Error is fixed. Thanks for the report :) I think the plugin actually runs a bit smoother now, tho it might just be my imagination. Try shooting through like 4 layers of glass (separate by air) and someone let me know if it works better than before, or if I'm crazy, lol

Its on my todo list. Im trying to come up with a way to respect ALL protection plugins, but if that doesn't work, im gonna hit as many of the major ones as I can stand, lol

well, its a new plugin, lol. But at least with lava and water, it should recontain itself when the glass regens. Im about to head to class, but when i get back ill be working on this.

Definitely need the sign check :D lost some of the admin shop signs that were on glass (easy repair fix).. Sucks for the guy who did it though, him and his friend sold the broken signs in the same shop, that got them caught :D lol Now everyone is pissed at them for doing it.. tsk oh well
You just can't give everyone everything without them doing something dumb that they can't fix. I'm sure I'll be getting lava and water grief reports next, oh the fun. Still everyone enjoys the plugin.

Ill be working on 1.2 later today, which will have the mandatory 9 blocks for falls, and probably a physics check for signs and some other stuff.

oh yeh that would be just as fine aswel, then have it use up the rest of the max blocks wrecking glass in the usual way :D

Also, this file upload business is kind of ridiculous. I've been removing and reuploading it so that when they finally approve it I won't have missed all the time this would be on the first couple pages, and I missed their upload this morning... should not be this difficult.

not sure how the update sounds, but i like the sound of many glass blocks breaking, at least up until it stops sounding like distinct glass breaking, I guess for max 0, then yeh it can be unrealistic sounding.
yeh blocks need to be closer to impact point (not so much for arrow hitting, just player), if player lands on a block, then at least all 8 adjacent blocks should break, guaranteeing the player carries to fall down. tbh I wouldn't be using the block limit either, but the plugin has no perms :D and so that means everyone is enjoying it, however with no max block limit it means stuff that has been built with over 50glass blocks all touching.. you get the point. I think the max blocks for player entity and arrow entity would be useful.
