Sorry I missed your post, not sure why I didn't see the notice. I'll try it out, thank you.
By the way, did anyone ever look at the possibility of defining regions so chess don't drop in things like Battlearena?
Please make it possible to disable death messages for certain players/ranks.

is it possible to have it randomize messages? ie. a set of 5 differant messages for dying by falling and it will randomly select one. dont mind me, i figured it out :3
Thanks for the update :) +1
What bugs have been fixed? Or are there too many to name? ;)
@Khiam
Correct. That permission on a player would let them keep 100% exp. Make sure you're using the newest version of Deathcraft. If you're certain the player has that permission and it's not working, open up a ticket with your config in it.
Also be certain that CheckXp is set to true in the config - if it is set to false (which it defaults to), this entire mechanic is disabled.
Im using craftbukkit 1.7.5 and im not sure if the keep xp on death function is fixed, if i wanted a player to keep 100% of their exp would i write deathcraft.keepxp.100 in their permissions? Thanks!
The Compass and Back features will both be added - I was actually adding the compass for my main server - as well as several more features - In addition, it will have world-based pvp leaderboards, and a bounty-hunter style thing (use a compass to find a target, etc).
It is my real life cake day weekend, however, so I'm doing a bazillion things. ;)

I hacked WorldGuard and GriefPrevention support into DeadMansChest for use on my own server. You can check out my changes to the code at my github repo. I simply checked for build permission in WorldGuard regions, and chest access permission in GriefPrevention plots. (I couldn't get the test for chest access in WG to work properly, so I just went with build access.)

I have just uploaded my first publicly released plugin, SavageDeathCompass, which gives a compass on death respawn with the target set to your last death location. I made it as a complimentary plugin to another death chest plugin that I use on my server, but it functions independently and has no dependencies, and should work fine along side DeathCraft.
I will very likely switch to DeathCraft from the other death chest plugin I am using, as it has more features, and I use raum's Stables plugin, and have always been very satisfied with it.
please update to 1.7.5 <3?
@lucasbuck2
As of right this moment, there is no way to block chests from specific areas. I'll work on some sort of WorldGuard hack to put something into place, however.
Re: Tracking - Wouldn't be super difficult - would have to add a few things to the death chest saves, however.
@DeeeM508
Deathcraft doesn't do anything at all to furnaces or crafting tables, and it doesn't CHANGE Chests at all - it only drops them... This sounds more like an issue with another plugin to be honest - That's not to say that DC2 isn't conflicting with something, but it isn't DC2 directly that would be causing that issue.
I have having issues when this plugin is installed where things like chests, furnaces, and crafting tables all show up as a block of stone untill you tap it. Has any body had any similar issues?
Oh, another thing. How hard would it be to add some kind of tracking\compass system to find your deathchest?
Would there be a way in Battlearena (specifically ctfarena) to stop deathchests from placing? Kind of clutters things up in a small arena. Like maybe to define an area where chests don't drop?
Wonderful! I downloaded the new version 1.9.3 and I deactivated the death messages, thanks!
@Stoneage2002
Re: Chests - I'll fix that on the next release. Prior to recently, the chests weren't saved "as" death chests - they were just regular chests ... so that feature wasn't possible. Now that I added the locking/protection tracking stuffs, that will be doable. ;)
Re: messages - The ability to disable messages was added recently, though I Don't think that I've uploaded the new version.
Is it possible to not drop a chest if the content was stored in a free chest? So when the player looted the free chest the player should't be allowed to get free chests to his inventory..
And is it possible to deactivate the death messages? I have another plugin for that ^^
@raum
That's the point.. i never gave it to them :)
@ThisUsernameIsMine
Remove the permission "deathcraft.suicide" from players.
