Brewery
Brewery is a Plugin for an alternate brewing process, including alcoholic Potions.
This Plugin works with Craftbukkit and Spigot 1.19, 1.18, 1.17, 1.16, 1.15, 1.14, ..., 1.8.x.
The somewhat difficult brewing process rewards you with a diversity of Potions, which, through their effects, create a drunkeness that has never existed in Minecraft before.
Learn the art of brewing through fermenting, distilling and barrel aging on your Minecraft server. Experience how, from spring water and wheat, through hard work, a cool beer is created. Distill high-proof liquor, which gets that unique taste after some aging in oak barrels. Celebrate the biggest feasts you can imagine and always keep the cheerful athmosphere. Fill the taverns with laughter and loud music, while the drunkards scuffle on the streets.
Features
- Brew alcoholic Drinks, that actually can make you drunk

- Master the brewing of even the most difficult Drinks
- Create your own Recipes including ingredients, properties and creation process
- Configurable influence on the chat
This Plugin now uses bStats! This submits anonymous stats about your server (player count, plugin/server version, etc.) to the public statistic website bStats.org which will provide developers with usage statistics of this plugin. If you don't want this feature and wish to opt-out, you can do so in the /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml. It would mean a lot to me though if you could leave it enabled, its part of what keeps me motivated :)
This Plugin uses an automatic Update Checker. It checks the CurseForge api for updates to this Plugin at each server start. If an update is found, the log and Ops are notified. The Update Checker runs in a seperate async thread, so it doesn't use any of your main processing resources. It will never download any files. If you wish, you can turn the Update Checker off in the config.yml

Translations
Das Plugin ist auf Deutsch entwickelt worden, ist aber standardmäßig auf Englisch.
Das Wiki ist auch komplett auf deutsch, schaut dort für mehr Informationen!
By Default, the Plugin is in english language and config. It is highly advised to use the config and language file for your language, as some parts of the plugin (like the Chat distortion) are language specific.
Config and Language files are included with the Plugin and can be found in the Brewery folder after first run. Simply replace the generated config with one from the "configs" folder. Which language file to use is set in the config.
Language files are to be placed in the folder: plugins/brewery/languages/

Getting Started
After installing you can simply start brewing, by fermenting ingredients, distilling and aging the ingredients. Check the Wiki for detailed informations about the process of brewing.
To also take advantage of the more advanced features, you may want to have a look at the config, where you can create your own recipes and even alter the word replacements in chat when a player is drunk. By default there are just some basic recipes, that show what settings you can utilise. There are plenty more possibilities to create own recipes such as other Liquors, Special Drinks, etc. You may want to look around on the internet about how the Drinks are made, or create fantasy recipes with funny effects and ingredients.
Most of the good Drinks should be kept secret or have just vague descriptions on how to brew them. That allows players to try around on specific ingredients, so that only certain brewers master the creation of a high quality drinks.
When it comes to drinking, it is nice to define Wakeup Points. These are places in the World where players "wake up" when they log off for a period of time while drunk. These places may be anything like high on a tree, inside a cave, on towers, on small islands or in astonishing buildings.
For best results the places should be distributed over a big area, as the algorithm favors a place near the players current position

This plugin is released under GPLv3.
Currently the support for this Plugin is very minimal. It is in a very mature stage where everything should work as expected. Any issues arising with the use of this Plugin may considerably be solved using the Wiki, or the help of existing discussion.

Pls Help me how can i Build barel and Brewer? where can i cook?
@Marsi77 Ok thx but how can i bulid them? where can i cook?
thx for the help
@clauz26: Plugins makes no new items, it change things like effects or names. You must cook the new things and you must build the barrels etc.
I have no new Items, no Barrel and Brewer, but the comands function. Can sombody helps me?
Can you introduce more barrel types?
My ideas for them are
Many clays are high in lead, so fermenting anything in a brick barrel would make the hangover worse, or silently poison the player d/t it being a neurotoxin.
Nether brick barrels are, theoretically, laced with sulphur oxide, which irritates mucous membranes, Hydrogren sulphide, which causes headaches, diarrhea, and dizziness, chlorine, which is a strong acid, and flourine, which dissolves bones and is highly poisonous in concentrated levels. Products would likely be very deadly if not made correctly, but the smell would be enough to stem anyone's appetite for alcohol, anyway.
Sandstone barrels are slightly permeable. They would absorb impurities, but also the flavor, leaving you with a pure, if not dry, product. Hangovers wouldn't be as bad, but alcohol concentration increases.
The plugin seems to be working very well and everybody is having a blast with it so far. However, I have a question as to the barrel part of the aging process.
I created a new alcohol... Bourbon, and it has 3 tiers (Difficulty 7). I have the barrel aging set at 20 minecraft days, however it appears as if I can get the best type of bourbon after only 10 minutes (less than one minecraft day) in the specified barrel type. My question would be, if I can get the best type of alcohol after aging it for not even 1/20th of what it should be aged, what's the point in aging it out to what it should be aged to?
Thanks for any help/info with this. I love this plugin and just want to understand it better.
Is there any date expected for the Added Permissions for the Barrels and Cauldrons, I am trying to make only a specific "group" be able to use them.
Thanks
Quick question. When adding items with the same item names (i.e. RED_ROSE) to the #cooked section of the config... am I able to use the short names instead to distinguish between the types of flowers? Or how about the item number?
Thanks so much for your help with this awesome plugin!
Let me start by saying this is a spectacular plugin. However, is it possible to make the products brewed restore food saturation/points? Is there a way to make this override the classic distilling? I think that would revalue potions.
What an awesome pluggin! ahaha just what I needed without really knowing it ahahah
@nashoxx
A complete list of permissions can be found in the wiki. What else do you need? "Way more" is not really helpful!
This needs way more permissions.
Thanks for all the great Feedback!
I have updated the Description above with informations on upcoming features, so stay tuned for Updates!
@nashoxx
It should work in 1.7.4, have you tested it?
@Exagerate
Recipes should not have much impact on the performance. Color codes work with all colors, but you may have to put the whole name in ' ', like so: '&3Name/&7Name/&9Name'
Otherwise it may render the entry unreadable. Adding back the entry correctly later, should make the drinks work again.
@Valconeye
Thanks for the finding, i will add that in a later Update.
Wow, this plugin is really amazing, and I don't say that for any plugin. Good job. By the way...Is there a possibility that we can see this awesome plugin in 1.7.4? Thanks (:
@Klausar
Use /brewery instead.
Is there a chance that you change the commands? You can't use it with worldedit because /br is brush from worldedit.
Say I had over 120 recipes in the config, would this pose a (noticeable) impact on server systems/"lag"? We also lost pre-existing drinks when adding new recipes but I believe this was my own fault for adding colour codes in the drink names, breaking the ones that were renamed- these were later removed as only orange appears to work(?) although it didn't fix the old drinks. Since then all drinks have been fine, but I haven't tampered with the cfg.
P.s. We love the plugin, keep up the great work, it's an RPG marvel!
This is a really awesome plugin. I'm having oodles of fun with it!
Are dye color items supported? I can't seem to get the names or ID #s for them properly. Only stuff like bone meal and ink sack work, but PINK, PINK_DYE, etc don't work and the item IDs are catch all. There's nothing on ( http://jd.bukkit.org/rb/doxygen/d6/d0e/enumorg_1_1bukkit_1_1Material.html ), under "Public Attributes," and those names on ( http://jd.bukkit.org/rb/doxygen/d2/d1c/enumorg_1_1bukkit_1_1DyeColor.html ) don't work either. It is the same sort of problem when trying to express FERN and not just the catch all ID# 31.
Here's a small example of what I'd like to do. The # notes show what I want, but can't express with that name, some of them have the ID # under them which does work. Those that don't have an individual ID #, like the dyes, are put in as notes so I don't forget them should I finally figure them out:
Got it working in my situation by editing your source code in the PlayerListener,
@EventHandler(ignoreCancelled = true, priority = EventPriority.HIGH)
I am having a little trouble getting protected claims to deny usage for Barrels, I even went as far as creating my own plugin to listen for sign right-click, check for barrel name on sign, getClaim info etc, check permission, deny.
However, even with event.setUseInteractedBlock(Result.DENY); and event.setCancelled(true); The Barrels inventory still opens up.

I guess I should first look at the source code to see if I am doing something wrong, or I could always modify the source for my own needs to add GriefPrevention support.
BTW, awesome plugin, props!! I really enjoy it.
