BOSEconomy
This plugin is no longer supported.
I have not updated this plugin in over a year, I barely even play Minecraft anymore, I've gotten a full-time job, and nobody else on the team is interested in developing it either. It's time to put it to rest. With the release of name changing in Minecraft 1.8, this plugin is no longer functional. Please do not use it anymore. The code is mediocre at best, and was written by a college student with no real-world programming experience. You really shouldn't want the source code. If somebody comes up with a script to convert BOSEconomy files to work with a different economy plugin, let me know via PM and I can include it on this page.
Thanks for the support I got while it lasted, and sorry for going silent and letting everyone down.

BOSEconomy is a simple, lightweight economy plugin. Every player owns an amount of currency and can make simple payments between one another. Read below to see all of the available features.
BOSEconomy stands for "Brotherhood of Slaughter Economy". The plugin was originally designed for our community's Minecraft server.
Features:
- Simplicity: install and go setup. Place the plugin in your folder and modify the files.
- Flexibility: Robust system able to accommodate the simplest of economy setups or the most complex economic setups to date.
- Reliability: Works with almost every Bukkit update without any need to update our plugin. ( no long waits for plugin fixes upon new Bukkit release )
- Standard: One of the leading Economy plugins. Backed by plugin API's such as Vault and Register. This means any plugin that uses vault or register as its backbone will make our plugin work with it without any need to change either persons code.
- Scalability: Control the functions of your econ based off of the size of your server base. With in game commands to modify almost every aspect of the plugin there is nothing you cant control.
- Ingenuity: Procedures put in place that provide the server owner with the "Sky is the limit" mindset. With options and controls to almost every aspect of the plugin there are hundreds of ways to make an econ system.
- Dependable: This plugin is constantly monitored and maintained. One of the most annoying factors to server owners is when a plugin loses support because of the owners disinterest in Minecraft. That will not occur with this as my communities server is very popular and proves to be a cornerstone for our gaming needs.

@Secant
Alright i will try thanks for the support.
Can I have 2 currencies in one world? Like a normal currency in dollars, then a points currency?
Thanks,
the /money command was also used to check other player's money before I updated to your version instead of sandarines.
@naorpeled1
This is done with the API method addPlayerMoney(String, double, boolean), which is documented in the API page.
@Arton123
I have not tested v0.7.8.1 with older versions of Minecraft, but I have no reason to believe that it wouldn't work unless they have changed the command block API since then. You can probably run both Essentials and BOSEconomy at the same time, though I don't know how plugins such as Vault would handle this.
@merlin4life
The "/money" command is only used to check your own money. Did you mean the "/econ info <player>" command? This still worked properly when I last tested it. As for the error, it seems to be a compatibility problem between ChestShop and Vault. I would recommend reporting it to ChestShop first.
./money player
no longer works in 0.7.8.1
Most recent version of chestshop is not compatible with your plugin
Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: net.milkbowl.vault.economy.Economy.has(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;D)Z

Would the newest version work with 1.5.2?, and can this overlay essentials economy?
How do I add money with the API?
@Secant
Thanks. My dad was looking into adding the check into the plugin and he thinks he can modify it to my needs. Thanks for your help.
EDIT: I don't know if there is another way to do this, but I need some kind of way to add the permission and guarantee payment. I can't use a shop plugin for this, so I would appreciate something like this: econ sub @p <value> <syntax for permission/extra> If this is at all possible, I would very much appreciate the addition.
EDIT 2: Thanks for your help. My dad and I are developing a plugin specifically for our use. Thanks anyway!
@bspells
As of now, there isn't a way for command blocks to check a player's money before running a command. I'm considering adding a money "check" command of some sort to be specifically used by command blocks, but first I need to fix the success conditions.
Hello... I am currently setting up a Donator Shop on my server. I use BuyCraft for the web portal and it works in terms of giving the player the in-game money. I am trying to use command blocks in the shop to add permissions, prefixes, etc. However, in testing, users can go below $0. This is vital for my server, so I either need a fix or tip.
Thanks, bspells
EDIT: I'm using 'econ sub @p 100' in my command block
I have released v0.7.8.1. Changes include the addition of command blocks and a fix for the excessive loading times that some of you were experiencing. As always, I recommend backing up your BOSEconomy files before updating. There are still a couple features I need to add for our community's server. Once these are completed, I will begin working on the SQL update.
The documentation on the Commands page should be up to date (and much easier to read). When I get the chance, I'll go through the guides and other pages as well, but I believe that these are all still reasonably accurate.
To those of you asking about multi-world currency, I will be implementing it once the SQL update is finished.
Would I be able to have multiple currencies in one world?
pays per hour not working in 1.6.2
hello, does this plugin supports Per-World Economy ? (in x world the player has 100$, in y world the player has 500$)
it now almost takes 10 minutes for boseconomy to load =(
@iAndyCraft
It sure does. I'm admin on a server that's been running the two together and they behave just fine. :)
Does this plugin work with MoneyDrop?
@merlin4life
What is the exact error message you are getting? There are a few error messages that can be produced during loading, so I'm not sure which one you are referring to.
What does it mean when it says Unable to buffer accounts.txt on the server loadup?
@Secant, Thank you for you help. i have follow your instructions and i will see what happens. Lets hope for the best Cheers again
