Usage of the getBanners command

Create banners with text

Just type any text you want after the command.

Example: "/getBanners BannerLetters is cool"

If you executed this, you would get 19 banners put in your inventory, each with the letter on it in the right order. Because the inventory only has 36 slots, 36 is the maxium of characters/symbols you can use in one command. If there are more, the rest just wouldn't show up.

Colors and more

If you want to have different colors, you can use the "&" character and after that a color character to change the foreground color and the "%" character and a color character to change the background color.

Besides these to characters, there is also the "/" charater which enables and disables the border around letters and some symbols. To enable border, type "/1", to disable them "/0". And finally there is the "$" character which when written just resets the colors/border again for the following characters.

Symbols

To use a symbol, you must place it's name in between a "(" and to end it a ")". Some symbols like the Pastebin symbol also have a ":" in them which seperates the symbol name, in this case "pastebin" or an alias like "pb" and then after the ":" there is the paste ID, for example "/getBanners (pastebin:PTXCU80Y)" which would give you a creeper banner loaded from pastebin. (Only if you have a working internet connection of course)

(Notice: You can of course mix symbols and other letters while using the getBanners command. And symbols are always one banner, so the text length of the symbol name doesn't matter)

Here are the different kinds of symbols:

Symbol from a symbol pack

A symbol loaded from a symbol pack is just used by typing the name of it in brackets for example "/getBanners (rabbit)" Read this page to find out how to make own symbol packs and more.

Symbol from Pastebin

You can also load symbols directly from a paste on pastebin. (or any other similiar site, just edit the config) You just need the paste ID, for example PTXCU80Y (The random text in a pastebin url is the paste ID "pastebin.com/SomeRandomText") To use it with the getBanners command type for example: "/getbanners (pastebin:PTXCU80Y)" and replace the text after the ":" with the paste ID you want to use. If you want to upload a symbol you've made to Pastebin, just upload the XML code of the symbol (found in a symbol pack for example, just without the "<symbolpack>" and there can only be one symbol) to Pastebin, set the paste to Public/Unlisted, create it and then memorize/write down the paste ID.

Standard symbols

Other than the two above, there are also some symbol helpers like the pattern "(pattern:PATTERN_NAME)" symbol and the color "(color:COLOR_NAME)" symbol. Just use them like a normal symbol and replace the PATTERN_NAME or the COLOR_NAME with the name of the pattern/color, for example "cre" is valid, it's the identifier of the Creeper pattern or "orange" or any other color name Minecraft supports. (Maybe go and look at the color characters list)
