METRICS
This plugin uses metrics to send stats out to mcstats.org. All I do is collect basic information such as online players and version type (Click on the graph to see everything that I can see), but if you wish to opt-out you can go to /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml in your server.
DONATE
This plugin is unique in it's wide array of features. Help me keep developing and improving this plugin by donating! Even $0.01 will make me happy.
Hi @pookeythekid
Per-World Chat seems like a good idea. I don't think it would work well for Custom Channels but I can brainstorm and see what I can come up with.
EssentialsChat is not compatible with the various chat channels (CustomChannels, ModChat, and AdminChat), but your default channel should be unaffected.
In the config.yml, completely remove your 'Channel-on-Join' setting so when players login they will not be in a chat channel. If they are in a chat channel, they can use /chat leave to enter the normal chat which is untouched by this plugin.
I think this is a good plugin! But... it's be even better if it had per-world chat! :D
Lol you don't need to add this, it's just a feature I need for personal usage. But I do have a question: Is this compatible with EssentialsChat?
@AoHRuthless
Anything to help, I really want this plugin on my server.
@geekyservers
Ok. This might be of an inconvenience to you, but please make a report here as I will receive e-mail notifications and it helps me keep me organized (Seems petty but sorry).
Is there an error log when a player leaves a chat channel?
Is there any extra steps I should do to reproduce the problem? Any other information that will help me solve this issue?
@AoHRuthless
I just installed, had only tried installing with your latest version 1.3.1. - First time user.
@geekyservers
Has this always been an issue, or has it been only prevalent in v1.3 / v1.3.1?
Alright, so - was and am, still very excited to use this plugin.
Unfortunately, I tried it out, chat room creation works great.. but I've found a problem. Once you leave the PlayerChat and go to global, the [Prefix] that was previously assigned by bPermissions gets removed. It takes a full server restart for the original prefix to come back - and yes, I am using the Essentials format and it's getting the [Prefix] via the rank the person has in bPermissions.
Once this bug is fixed, I'll be uber happy!
@StealthBravo
Not yet. I have been hoping to add several features to the chat channels, but i felt that updating to 1.7.2 had precedent.
@AoHRuthless
Does this plugin allow you to have players auto-join specific channels, and allow yo uto change the chat format for each channel?
@Light_Ulquiorra
I believe that in the config, custom channels can be disabled. Otherwise you can remove the permissions from users. For example, if you are using Groupmanager you can do /mangaddp [group] -PlayerChat.user Something like PEX will be /pex group [group] add -PlayerChat.user The "-" negates their access to the permission.
Are OP allowed to turn off like the "player chat channels"; making it able to just have Mod/Admin chat channels?
@Rubberduckiez
Thank you! :)
Great Idea im going to Use it ;D
@lme999
I plan to add support for making your own channel. Each server admin has different channels in mind and that will be more useful overall than specific integrated channels. Thanks for your feedback!
@gamerjack
I know EssentialsChat prefixes work. I will try and add support specifically for prefix plugins like GroupManager or PEX. I am unsure if herochat works but I will look into that as well. Nice suggestion about nicknames, I will definitely look into adding a feature for that. Thank you for your feedback!
EDIT: There is now a nickname feature. However, nicknames you have set with other plugins (like Essentials) will carry through in the default chat and in custom made channels. However they do not carry through adminchat and modchat. The same goes for prefixes.
@EricLimaB
Thank you!
Very simple and nice!
very good plugin, i have been looking for something like this for quite a long time.
Some things i believe need to be added for it:
-Nicknames carry through
-Prefixes carry through (group manager)
-When talking in the player chat or mod chat, it should say Admin Chat or Mod Chat instead of [Player Chat]
Awesome job on the plugin! Keep it up!
Love the idea of this plug-in, here's a few suggestions: Add in a config to enable/disable different channels. Add the channels: Admin Moderator Builder Youtuber And permissions for each one.
