HothGenerator
This world generator creates a real ice world that isn't just normal land covered with snow.
The plugin can actually generate more world types from the star wars movies (Tatooine, Dagobah and Mustafar worlds) but those are not described in detail here. You are left to explore and find all their secrets on your own.

This generator produces an icy world with a thick ice and snow layer and the occasional snow covered mountain. Hidden below you might find tiny caves where life that once inhabited the surface still survives and perhaps you'll find strange structures left over from some ancient civilization.
It also applies some extra rules to the world:
- Ice block, packed ice blocks and snow blocks drops as blocks
- Water placed in open air or above a certain level instantly freezes
- Lava placed in open air or above a certain level is turned into stone
- snow and ice does not melt
- No rain falls, only snow
- Plants doesn't grow if exposed to the sky
- Grass and mycelium dies under open sky if it can't spread into safety
- Slime does not spawn naturally above the stone layer
- Stay out at night and you will take damage from the cold
All rules are fully optional by editing the advanced options section in the configuration file.
Players can don an environment suit to protect themselves from the environment.
- Simply wear full armour with each piece with a name starting with
Environment
Commands to create a world:
STEP 1: You must add a new world to the HothGenerator configuration. This is done using the /hothaddworld
command.
/hothaddworld worldname type
Where "worldname"
is the name of your world and "type"
is one of hoth
, tatooine
, dagobah
or mustafar
.
STEP 2: Create the actual world.
If you are using the excellent MultiWorld plugin you can create a new world like this:
/mw create worldname plugin:HothGenerator
/mw load worldname
Do note that you should use the nether for the mustafar world. Use plugin_nether
above.
And for Multiverse:
/mv create worldname normal -g HothGenerator
or for a mustafar world:
/mv create worldname nether -g HothGenerator

Now it comes to 1.13.2
i wish there could be one last update for 1.11.2
This plugin is now abandoned. I've gradually lost interest in Minecraft and have now moved on to other things.
If anyone wants to continue developing the plugin then the source is available on github.

Very sorry to hear that , but thanks for your amazing Work :) been a real asset to my server
and thank you for posting code much appreciated
hey there having some weird stuff pop up on 1.11.2
allof a sudden worlds start to load tons of chunks, for /lag they are loading 35,000 + chunks into memory taking all my ram and lagging server out
as soon as I remove hothgenerator it stops. any idea what could be wrong?
thanks very much
Yes, the problem is that you are using a minecraft version that is not compatible with the plugin.
How do i get this world in Minecraft on pc? Do i have to download anything or how does it work?
@palipali
I think I added a filter for them so that they are ignored if you try to add them. Adding them now will just either create anonymous defunct eggs that can't be used or default ones (ie not using the type you wanted).
A custom loot list will replace the internal list when used.
@orgin_org
Thanks. And if I set the mobeggs in a new .ll (lootlist) file, will it work? I understand we can't use eggs now, but we should colletct (just for fun) these until the spigot will be updated. And an other question about lootlist file: if I create a new file, this will change the default loot settings, or just integrate to the original list?
@palipali
Yes I had to remove it since the mc api for them changed for 1.10 (You can't set the spawn type via bukkit/spigot anymore) and spigot has not yet expanded the bukkit/spigot interfaces. I raised an issue for this several months ago but they still haven't fixed it.
Hi, we can't find mob eggs on either Hoth worlds - in the earlier versions we did a lot of passive mobs eggs. Did you block this function?
Multiworld keeps throwing out a "Exception generating new chunk" error, any ideas?
@Bodyash
Thanks.
Typo in the code. Should be fixed in the next update.
http://pastebin.com/a17CFM5r Some errors in console
Very nice, good plugin!
@Bodyash
Don't see why. But anyway I've uploaded a revision bumped version for "1.10" that doesn't have anything actually new in it.
Need Update for 1.10
can you add custom name and lore support to the loot tables please, and also head textures (for when using heads)
@raton023
It requires that either the spigot team fixes the performance issues (Or at least makes it on par with the 1.8 releases) or I spend a few months coding a complex chunk rendering cache mechanism.
Unfortunately the latter won't be possible until perhaps later this year, september at the earliest.
when will dagobah be working ? what does it needed to have it working?
