This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to

  • A unique identifier
  • The server's version of Java
  • Whether the server is in offline or online mode
  • The plugin's version
  • The server's version
  • The OS version/name and architecture

  • The Metrics version Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

This plugin features an update command which will check if you are running the latest build and download the update to the plugin folder if it not currently installed. You are required to trigger the command manually and you must restart or reload the server for changes to take effect.

    Feature Request: Parameters

With the ability to use am broadcast listname 1 This means we can use this to display custom messages in other plugins, or on scheduled events which is fantastic, the only issue is that I cant pass information into this.

If we have parameters we would be able to use placeholders from other plugins to display information, for instance I have a rank upgrade system, when someone ranks up I sent a bcast message that they have ranked up, I would much prefer to have a customizable message (which isn't part of their plugin). I could use the {username} placeholder from my ranks plugin and run the command: am broadcast listname 1 {username} {time} Then in the config for listname 1, you would have {parameter1} {parameter2} which would display the parameters passed into the broadcast; They could be infinite as the space would separate them. This could be used in so many ways, for many plugins to display custom messages with this very simple feature.

I think he removed the prefix stuff. Oh well. I just put the prefix on each automessage instead

as mentioned by TheChampTFMineCraftLegend and CaptDarkStar, the prefix command doesn't work anymore. :( when trying to add ingame a prefix, i get this error:
The specified command was not found.

Okay, i noticed u removed prefix functions in 2.5... :(((( very sad.

I will look into this. Probably some background changes in Bukkit that broke the plugin.

Edit: It seems that it is probably an error with your config and/or permissions. I just tested the plugin on 1.8.6 and everything works fine.

Use the \n for multiple lines. Im not quite sure without looking over the source but I think that \n between json may work for sending multiple json messages however I would have to double check the source.
