ZooMaster is the ultimate spawn-control plugin! With it, you can craft special eggs, arrows and spawner blocks to mobilize monsters and animals from one part of the game world to another... and back again! Having trouble finding cows or pigs nearby? Want to craft your own blaze spawner in the overworld? Not a problem!

=== CraftBukkit Version ===

ZooMaster was built against CraftBukkit 1.6.4-R2.0, build #2918. You'll be able to play it on any current CraftBukkit server, so just drag-and-drop the ZooMaster.zip file into your /plugins folder, start your server and enjoy.

=== Features: Crafting ===

ZooMaster allows players to craft several important items:

  • Capture Eggs: Crafting these items lets you turn an animal or monster into a spawn egg. You can then click the ground with your spawn egg anywhere else in the world at any time to respawn the creature you wanted. It even works on witches, giants and iron golems!

  • Capture Arrows: Want to capture a ghast, but getting close to them is nearly impossible? No problem. Just use your capture eggs, sticks and feathers to craft Capture Arrows, then shoot the creature you want to capture!

  • Elastic Arrows: Combine Capture Arrows with leashes to create Elastic Arrows, and then draw the captured egg back to your feet!

  • Spawner Blocks: Use obsidian, iron bars and an ender eye to craft a Blank Spawner, then using 8 spawner eggs, you can transmute your blank spawner into the Spawner of your choice! Shoot down some ghasts and make a ghast spawner in the overworld to frighten your enemies and wreak havoc!

=== Features: Capturing ===

The "Capture I" and "Elastic I" abilities allow you to capture any Overworld creatures (given the right permissions). "Capture II" and "Elastic II" abilities allow you to capture Nether creatures. You can simply activate the "/zoo legacy <on|off>" command to toggle the need for "Capture Level"-specific eggs and arrows. You might find useful someday, especially when "Capture III" comes into play... someday... mwahahaha!

Another "capture" feature included with this plugin is the ability to Silk Touch spawner blocks. This lets you pick up dungeon or fortress spawner blocks already in the world and place them somewhere else at your liesure.

=== Features: Cleansing ===

This plugin allows you to "cleanse" existing mob spawners by combining them with Thick Potions and Fire Charges. This will erase the type of mob spawned, allowing you to change it to whatever you like. Found a zombie spawner in a dungeon, but would really prefer to have it spawn mooshrooms? Just cleanse it and use mooshroom spawner eggs to create the new spawner of your choice.

=== Permissions ===

There is a very exhaustive permissions list, however, I have broken them up into some simplified permissions. You can click the Permissions page to see the more detailed version. All permissions default to OPs.

  • zoomaster.*: Grants absolutely ALL ZooMaster abilities, including crafting of eggs, arrows and all spawner types, and the ability to capture all types of creatures.
  • zoomaster.capture.*: The ability to capture every creature type allowed by the plugin.
  • zoomaster.capture.spawnerblock: This specific capture permission allows you to safely silk-touch spawner blocks.
  • zoomaster.command.*: Use of all ZooMaster commands.
  • zoomaster.craft.*: The ability to craft everything in the plugin; the eggs, arrows and spawn blocks.
  • zoomaster.animals: Can capture and craft spawners for cows, pigs, sheep and chickens.
  • zoomaster.exotics: Can capture and craft spawners for bats, horses, iron golems, mooshrooms, ocelots, squids, wolves and villagers.
  • zoomaster.overworld: Can capture and craft spawners for cave spiders, creepers, endermen, silverfish, skeletons, slimes, spiders, witches and zombies.
  • zoomaster.nether: Can capture and craft spawners for blazes, ghasts, magma cubes and zombie pigmen.
  • zoomaster.common: Gives the ability to craft Capture eggs and use them on normal animals, and all monster types.
  • zoomaster.vip: Gives "common" abilities, plus crafting Capture Arrows and all spawner types, and the ability to capture exotic animals.

  • v1.1.3: Fixed issues with spawners.
  • v1.1.1: Fixed issue with crafting "Elastic II" arrows.
  • v1.1: Series of performance enhancements, addition of Elastic arrows, Capture levels and Legacy game rule, fixed minor issues and bugs. Added ability to cleanse spawners.
