jnorr i can let you use mine. I already have a map that we had set up before but with issues with not saving map info i kept the project on hold.
@LiLChris06
No, not yet. I was actually just contacted about this. I have been working on finding a test server that gives me the most freedom. I really can't allow advertisements in my plugin and/or bukkit/curse description. I will work out the details soon enough.
Any test server for this, or a decently sized server hosting it? Curious to give this a try.
@Goosebumps27
try /za object create area <gamename>
The commands were changed a while back so they are more straightforward (although you may not realize it). Now commands can have more arguments also, allowing me to add more functionality.
@Jnorr44:
When I try to use /za area it doesn't work, it just comes up with the help page.
@Jnorr44
Sounds cool and I will definitely try it once/if you implement it but until then, Crackshot is working just fine for me; and if anyone else has problems, just ask me and I will be more than happy to help you with the compatability between Crackshot and Ablockalypse. Actually, I think it would be better if someone asked in the GitHub instead of here.
@TheCodeGreen
If I ever get to it, guns will be in the spout add-on (and perhaps instead an add-on if MC API allows custom items).
@Jnorr44
My bad, I forgot about that.... I just remember that I believe you said there was an error or something a while back and thought it was still a problem.
@sealteam108
Personally, I prefer having a separate plugin handling the guns because Crackshot is already quite advanced and it works very well with Ablockalypse.
@sealteam108
Just download crackshot and add those items to the items.yml file... I have to wait until Bukkit updates to add the ability for enchantments on custom items. Also, are you talking about Ablockalypse bringing you back to the help menu, or COM: Zombies?
@TheCodeGreen
Yeah this plugin looks cool and all but in till he adds guns or if he does it wont be better than the " call of minecraft: zombies " plugin and the plugin did not work on my server i did the commands he told me to do and it just brought me back to the help menu so yeah...
@TheCodeGreen
There is... items.yml has a starting items section...
@sealteam108
I use Crackshot on my server with Ablockalypse and since there is no way to give players starting items I just tried multiple ideas such as making the starting item that you want very cheap at the start of a level so that they can buy it or if you are using multiverse, I believe there is a function that allows users to spawn into separate worlds with certain items, assuming you dedicate an entire world to one level. I am still trying to figure out the best way myself but I will most likely just wait for the feature to be added.
@sealteam108
So you want an enchantment on a custom id, that's an upcoming feature, I am trying to get enchantments to be serializable so they can be put in the items.yml file. The problem right now is that I need to wait until Bukkit has been updated to 1.7.2 so the item ids are changed to names.
@Jnorr44
How would you make it a starting item crack shot makes it so you have a enchantment on the gun and it makes it that gun , how would you make it the starting weapon in the config?
@sealteam108
I can't get involved in another project. I already have a bunch open and other stuff to deal with. I can tell you though that when pack-a-punched, the weapon becomes enchanted. Also, all guns from crackshot are given an item id, meaning they can be added into the game as a buyable/starting item through items.yml. Perk machines also exist, although they are just signs. I haven't updated the GitHub wiki lately, but when it is updated you should be able to find all of this stuff on there.
@sealteam108
I would only do this in an addon, and by the way, you can do this with crackshot (crackshoot?) by just adding the item ids to the items.yml file. I am also looking to have this in a spout plugin (with more realistic guns, along with perk machines, etc).
You should add guns (item with snowball shooting out of it) it would make the plugin allot better
@TheCodeGreen
Solved in the next version, and posted on the known issues of the file, thank you.
New issue on the GitHub's page.
